I subscribed to ABConvert and had to cancel only 8 days into my billing cycle, for reasons unrelated to the app itself. I contacted support and asked for a partial refund covering only the unused part of the period, not a full refund. The request was declined. Refusing to prorate a billing period that went almost entirely unused is disappointing and says a lot about how merchants are treated once they’ve paid. Support is also handled first by an AI agent, which made a simple request slower and more drawn out than necessary. If you’re considering ABConvert, don’t count on any flexibility on billing. Once you’re charged, expect to pay for the full period, even if you cancel within days.
The support staff is helpful and responsive. The team openly discusses the features they are developing, and allow you to weigh in on their path. It's easy to fall in love with them :)

Very good experience with AB Convert, the team is very helpful, always answering fast. The tool allows us to implement very quickly important tests on our websites. Big thanks to Kelly who is always very supportive!
There are great people behind this app who care about their users. App also works as expected and it's cost-effective compared to other expensive solutions.
The support process is ridiculous. You're required to book a ticket just to speak to someone which sure whatever thats fine but the issue is you close out the ticket without any response from us on whether or not your suggestions fixed the issue at hand to which we have to go through your AI chat system and respond to multiple unnecessary prompts just to get passed it so we can speak to book a ticket and then we have to book a completely brand new ticket and re-type all the information that should already be available if you just didn't close the ticket out. The app itself is fine which is why I gave 3 stars.

Incredibly easy product to use, great team. Leo walked us through some ways to test for our quantity breaks that'll help reduce COGs by 40%. Not having to update URLs on ads ever because all tests are done on Shopify side makes it so much better than anything we've used so far.
Amazing app, bad operation. The functionality of the app itself is great- you can run tests that improve your conversion rate by 0.1%, which is a lot. However, the app lacks in support and self-support- not because of the support staff, but because of the working hours and the way errors are not communicated. I've attempted creating the same price test over 10 times by now- each time, taking ~30 minutes. Once the test fails, all it does is not show up in the "Your tests" section- no visible feedback on why it failed. The support works 9am to 6pm- Beijing time- meaning during regular business Hours in the Americas, you have no support.

I’d like to clarify one point: while our main support team is based in Asia, we also provide coverage outside of Beijing hours. For example, Kelly from our team works in UTC+1 (French time), which overlaps with part of U.S. business hours. In your case, she responded within 10 minutes, though we understand it still felt late given the situation. You’re absolutely right, our support coverage during U.S. hours can be improved, and we’re already working on expanding availability. We’re also addressing how errors are communicated in the app so that test failures give clearer feedback. We've been using AB-Convert for a while now to run our A/B tests and are absolutely satisfied, especially with the outstanding support. We faced a tricky issue with recurring spikes in bot traffic at the end of each month, which seemed to skew our test data. The support team jumped in right away Leo from the support team personally stepped in. He analyzed our test data, identified suspicious IPs, and helped us exclude them directly through the dashboard. The communication was quick, clear, and helpful throughout. They even involved their dev team without us having to do any extra setup. It’s rare to find a tool that not only delivers reliable results but also has a support team that genuinely cares and takes action. If you're serious about running clean, trustworthy A/B tests on Shopify, I highly recommend AB-Convert.

The tool itself is very reliable and honestly much easier to set up and use compared to other similar apps we've tried in the past. But what really stands out is the support team. Great app to A/B test your store, most importantly,y support is incredibly on boarded me in a matter of minutes, even got on a quick call to explain how the app works.
ABConvert has enabled us to unlock more consumer insights. Our organization is full of hypotheses, and we use ABConvert to take action by testing the hypotheses, documenting results, and sharing the actionable insights with our organization! The support team is very responsible and engaging!

Really simple to use for testing conversion rates on a Shopify store. We mainly run URL Redirect tests and ABConvert has been helpful in showing where to steer our UX and design by allowing us to test the impact of both major and minor changes. We also had a good experience with their Help team (shout out to Leo) who got back to us very quickly and were happy to jump on a call immediately to talk through the issues we were having which were resolved thanks to the call.
Some of the best customer service I've ever dealt with. Leo and the team at ABConvert take the time out of their day to hop on a zoom call and guide you if you need help setting up tests. Their team and app is incredible. Highly recommend this well priced split testing app! Thanks guys.

A++++ Service and App. The app is flawless and can do what other applications can't do. We love it, we've been using it ever since and the Support from the whole team - especially Leo - is super good. Jeffrey just went above and beyond to help fix our store when it wasn't even this app that was causing the issue. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK This app cost me more than it helped or saved. *****DOES NOT SYNC INVENTORY. (also does not warn you about this) In my case this lead to overselling hundreds of items. when I asked the staff to explain how inventory works, it took well over 5 minutes to get a real answer: Me: so i am meant to manually recalculate my inventory after a test? Jeffrey: No you don’t have to Me: then why is my inventory oversold Jeffrey: Just go analytics and see how many test variants are sold Jeffrey: And minus the number Jeffrey: That’s it

Despite the hour, we were committed to addressing your concerns. I noticed there was a significant amount of emotion during our conversation. We attempted to clarify the situation, but it seemed there might have been some miscommunication. Regarding the app, it creates duplicate variants for price testing, which can occasionally lead to inventory discrepancies. We're actively working on developing an inventory syncing feature to resolve this. However, in this instance, the primary issue arose because the test ran for an extended period of three months without monitoring the inventory levels. I've been using this app for a couple of days and I'm super impressed with the built-in functionality and level of support they offer. We have some custom landing pages with several products & variants on the same page. They offered to step in and do a couple of custom things so their app would work seamlessly with their app, the same day we asked! For regular Shopify pages, the testing works out of the box with just a couple of clicks. It also works with subscriptions (Recharge in our case). This saves us a ton of $$/time/effort by skipping bulky A/B testing software and it doesn't impact speed!
Super easy to implement, quick support and works seamlessly. I've been looking for a tool that allows us to do easy price testing but at an affordable cost to us. We're not a large store, but the price tag on this app is expensive but super fair for a company like ours. I had to reach out to support one time just to be sure I was doing things correctly, and Jeffrey responded within a few minutes. Highly recommended.

An absolute recommendation for this app! The support responds very quickly and helps both with the evaluation of the data and with the setup of particularly complicated A/B tests. We have been able to revise our entire pricing structure with the help of the app and thus increase profitability.
We needed to launch a price test on the accessory we manufacture. Of the 3 other applications tested ABconvert were the most professional and responsive as well as being the cheapest... The installation was not easy and Jeffrey immediately took charge of the setup. I was able to talk to him by chat and even by video so that the environment was well understood and everything was sorted out within a few hours. Thank you for your great responsiveness! Price testing is a crucial issue and this application will enable us to make an informed decision!
I installed this app to do a bunch of testing on content / price / messaging etc. It is a highly capable CRO testing app. The analytics allow you to measure many different metrics such as profit per view, rev per view, CVR, overall profit for each test iteration etc.. You aren't limited to A/B testing. You can split traffic to test a few different price variations in the same test. Overall it is a very intuitive app which makes the testing process accessible for store owners. Best of all, the service is incredible. Jeffrey responded to a few setup issues immediately (my stores code problem, not the apps) and edited my theme code to sort it out.
ABConvert is a very nice solution for price testing products. It is simple to use and the support from Jeffrey was top notch. Setting up the a/b and a/b/c tests was an intuitive process. After choosing a product to test you are able to quickly edit the test price for each variant as well as the compare to price and then launch the test. The analytics dashboard provides everything needed to evaluate your tests and move forward with confidence. Again, the support from the team was superb. They were very responsive and catered to our needs.

I’ve never seen an app with a support team that take care their use to such extent. I was having trouble creating a test, and I message the help desk through live chat widget. The support just guide me step by step and solve my problem. Though the issue was from them, but I really like the respect they showed to the users. Besides the support, the app itself is so powerful but simple. I guess I will just stick to it.
