We have been using this app for a long time and it works very smoothly for us.
I tried different apps, and in some cases I almost have to be a programmer to know how to make any changes.... When I thought that I almost got it, another problem came, so I gave up and tried and tried and tried until I found Gift Box, and I couldn't believe how amazingly easy it was to use. In minutes!! I made my gift box promo... Minutes, I tell you!!! With others I have to read a bible of instructions and try to think like a programmer to know what they're trying to tell... This was a charm!! And when a bug did appear... and the robot was trying to help me... A HUMAN!! came to the rescue!! and immediately fix the problem.
Easy to use and support was efficient and helped resolve my issue. I find the suite of Digismoothie apps user-friendly and customisable to what I'm looking to achieve. Thanks Marcela for your prompt and efficient response too.

I love this app. It allows me to give back to my customers in the exact way I want to. The customer support is great too. The robot chat is really smart and quick and if its too complicated a live person jumps on pretty quickly. Everything I've needed to do, and every issue I needed to fix, was addressed quickly and with a very friendly and professional attitude. I would definitely recommend this app to anyone who needs a free gift option for their website. Amazing app honestly , but their support is what got me to write this review.. We had a glitch on the GiftBox app where one of our products wasn’t adding to cart properly, and Tina jumped in straight away. She checked everything step by step, kept me updated throughout, and reassured me that if she couldn’t fix it herself, the tech team would resolve it within two hours. In the end, that wasn’t even needed, she sorted the issue herself within 20 minutes. Super responsive, calm under pressure, and genuinely committed to helping. What a legend. Thank you, Tina.

I was having an issue with the free gift I had set up propagating in fulfillment. I got on chat. It referred me to a human. They jumped on the problem and had it resolved within 30 minutes. I'm a very happy and well supported Gift Box customer. Thank you

We’ve had a great experience using GiftBox. The app itself is very straightforward and easy to understand, which made setup and day-to-day use seamless while we were learning the platform. A huge shoutout to Rein and the GiftBox support team. Email support has been quick, clear, and straight to the point, always helpful and easy to deal with. The level of support really stood out and made the whole experience even better. We’ve loved using GiftBox and will definitely continue to use it moving forward. Highly recommend.

This app does exactly as advertised, and it is very easy to use. I couldn't find a $29.99 plan. The minimum is $49.99 per month, which seems a little pricey. In the end, I like the app and plan to continue using it.

Gift Box is a very clean looking and functioning app that has already improved our average sale after only a few days of use. Also their customer service is top notch. I asked to have one item changed and it was done within 15 minutes.

Ran into an incompability issue with our Shopify theme (Eclipse) but it was fixed within hours, all while getting realtime updates over Live chat. Perfect service. Also the UI/UX of the plugin is very good, both for the customers and for the admin. Best and simplest Free Gift app I could find, and I tested exactly 17 of them, paid and free. Suits anyone's needs perfectly if you just need to give a free gift automatically, where Shopify's built in Buy X Get Y discount type lacks automation (requires manual action from the customer, a discount code and/or an add to cart, from the customer in order to get the gift)

This app is fantastic, easy to set up and use, easy to customize, css addition makes it simple to adjust to your brand and page exactly and when there was a feature I needed I messaged their team and they had it fixed and created in a few hours - amazing!!
The support is really excellent. I received an answer within a few minutes and was also helped directly. With regard to the app, I would like to have one more setting option: To replace the pop-up field for selecting the gift with a slot in the shopping cart. That would be a nicer solution when shopping via smartphone.
Easy to integrate into your Shopify store. Every time I've reached out to support, I receive an answer in minutes (which is a huge plus) from Glecy who is super useful. The UI is easy to use and straight forward. There could be some more features to customise the widgets but overall a great app!
The block does not update dynamically and gifts can be selected even if the conditions are not met. It means there is no server-side validation that checks the conditions. This also means you cannot select a gift when you add a product to the cart dynamically and the conditions are met until you refresh the page. The gift is removed from the cart when you remove a product even if the conditions are still met. There is a limit of 10 items/Product Choice

The UI is well-designed, and the mechanism is solid, reliable, and refreshingly straightforward. We really like it. It’s clearly a high-quality product, and it shows. That’s why, despite many other apps available on the Shopify store with even more features, we chose to stick with this one. To be clear: this is a 5-star app in our eyes—the quality is unquestionable. We’re only holding back on the full rating in hopes that Italian will be added as a supported language soon. Since our store is multilingual, this is a significant issue for us. We're also looking forward to seeing a few new features added (which we've already suggested to their great support team). Speaking of support: it's truly excellent. We're honestly very impressed and enthusiastic. We also want to mention that we’ll definitely be trying Candy Rack for the Christmas season—it looks amazing. Quite expensive, but it seems worth it. Huge compliments to the team for such an outstanding job!

Easy to manage and great customer service
This app is very easy to use, and works very well. Simplicity is the key. Also, the guys on the help desk go out of their way to resolve any issues. They quickly sorted out an issue where the free gifts were shown in a region where we didn't want them to be shown. I appreciated that a lot as it could have been a major headache for our customer care team. Thanks Melanie and co.
Very good app, even better support. The app works well so far. Initially we had some issues with a theme conflict but support resolved it quickly. I've had to contact them three times since installation (only once really for proper technical support) and each time I hear back almost immediately and they helped me very efficiently. My only criticism is I think its expensive for an app that comprises such a small addition to the site and that may prevent me from using it long term - but I would probably say that about 90% of the apps on here.

Had a minor issue which caused customer to get free gifts without a purchase of an item. They were quite responsive and did a custom fix quite swiftly!
