Great app, great people! Took us a while to get there but we got there in style :-)

After being dropped by a major shipping protection provider due to claim volume caused entirely by carrier failures — not anything on our end — we needed a replacement fast. Simply Shipping Protection stepped in seamlessly. The setup was straightforward, the support team was incredibly responsive, and they even implemented a custom workaround to get our widget pre-selected at checkout when Shopify's native settings wouldn't allow it. Varun went above and beyond to make sure everything worked exactly the way we needed it to. The free tier is generous and the pricing structure makes sense for a growing small business. We collect the protection fees, we handle our own claims, and nobody can pull the rug out from under us for being "unprofitable." That's the control we needed. Highly recommend for any indie brand that wants shipping protection without the drama.

If you're looking for an affordable In house Insurance app, this is the one. They have customizable widget, Claim Page to manage all claims and Excellent customer service. I had a trouble with CSS on my theme and they were able to help me provide custom CSS that works for my page. I will be a long term customer of this app.

Simply Shipping Protection is a great app with really good support. Our wishes were tailored to in a very professional manner. We shall be expanding to two more Shopify expansions stores with Simply Shipping Protection.

Great app with good customer service!

We recently switched from Route Purchase Protection to using this app instead. We have started on the Free plan just to try it out but so far, the experience has been great! The support team is very responsive, usually responding within 24h and having the issue fixed in 24-48h. Despite not being on a paid plan, they've offered extensive help to our team. We will be upgrading our plan next month for a product launch and looking forward to seeing how well it works on a larger scale.

Every single store should have this app, its a no brainer. You can instantly add 1.5-3% in revenue and/or pure profit. 95% of my customers keep the shipping protection in their cart and based on the product and location, I choose whether or not to actually purchase shipping protection when purchasing the shipping label. Typically it only costs 1% of the total value to actually insure packages so you're still adding profit that can offset your transaction fees! I wish I started using this app sooner!

Been using the App for a year or so and it has been good for us. Would recommend and customers seem to have been ok with it. We did some updates to our site at one stage and didn't realise for a fair while that the app stopped working. Support was able to get it back going reasonably quickly.

Every ecomm store should install this app. I wish we had turned it on sooner! It's very easy to use, it took about 15 minutes to set up including asking support for help with the design. Support responds almost instantly every time, and they have a solution for every issue or question that comes up. Having this additional revenue to help offset the cost of lost and damaged inventory is huge for a small business.

My software can't be used, customers can't use this service, the first contact customer service can't give a solution, they will say that the service will be updated, the second time I contact customer service, there is no reply .After a short period of time, the account manager found me. This is a very easy app to use for my store. I was having issues with Route insurance and I am glad I made the switch. Customer service is really helpful and answers questions very quickly. The app gives you full control of your claims process . I recommend it .

Ok this app is amazing! It solved my unique problem which I will explain below. But before I do I want to mention how quickly this team was able address my issues with migrating to the new 2.0 Shopify theme and make any edits to the app. I use this app to mitigate lost or stolen packages not as insurance in the normal sense. I decided against the insurance route because people will cheat the system. Most of my sales are for bulk orders for weddings that are large. The smaller orders are usually samples which most people dont care about insuring. I charge $10 for "shipping protection". So the $10 really only covers the cost of adding "Signature Required" on the label so we can insure the packages will not get lost or stolen if they are delivered directly to the customers hands and they need to sign for it. This app has solved this problem for me seamlessly!

Great, easy to use app and installation. Customer support is extremely helpful and always willing to help. Usually respond within 1-2 days. Very happy with this app and how it has helped our business as I did not like how other apps such as Route require you to enter your bank information and remove insurance as payouts from you.

The app works exactly as it should. Easy to use and the backend is easy to configure. Where this app shines in in their support. Support answers any questions immediately and not only worked with their app but helped solve and fix some problems that another app was causing with my site. So far, this product is the best solution we've found for offering shipping protection to our customers. Navidium has some placement issues that didn't work for our business and Route's service (both to our business and to our customers) has degraded over the past 6 months or so.

Really pleased with the app (functionality and back end) and the support team has been great. Really reactive and they managed to apply rules depending on the products which was what I needed but was not available through the app yet. I recommend.

We have just recently started using Simply Insurance as the rigmarole involved in other shipping insurance companies was a real pain. Plus, the other companies took a cut of all of the protection plans that were purchased. We chose this app so that we could keep everything in-house to see how it all went. Set up wasn't totally intuitive, but their customer service team was quick to get us sorted so we could go live. So far our customers are really jumping at the opportunity to purchase shipping protection, so this should provide us with another small income stream. Plus, even for the unlimited plan, the price is a bargain at just $100 a month!

I cannot say enough good things about this app and the customer service is always at your finger tips! 2020 was an awful year for shipping issues and being able to take care of my customers issues in house is worth every penny of a monthly charge. The revenue no longer pads someone else pockets, but lets us keep our own customers happy in house and in a timely manner. The customer can make a quick claim, we then do our side of the investigating the issue with our close carrier reps and can get the issue resolved.
