We tested Smart Wishlist during the free trial, and while it initially seemed to work, the experience quickly turned disappointing. - Functionality Problems: After a few days, a major bug appeared — items added to the wishlist did not actually show up, leaving the wishlist empty. This completely undermines the purpose of the app. - Customer Support: The most discouraging part was the lack of support. I emailed multiple times over the span of a week and received no response. With only a few days left in the free trial, I had no resolution or even acknowledgment of my messages. While the app might have potential, the unresponsive support and basic functionality failures make it hard to justify using Smart Wishlist as a reliable long-term solution.
Can a developer remove this wishlist code from my website? I uninstalled but i can still see the wishlist but its just broken Update: I had to hire a developer to remove the stubborn code off my website costing me money. Update: It appears there's a misunderstanding. Our app was installed in February 2024, but since January 2024, we've updated our app to no longer require permission to edit themes. This means our app couldn't have added the code in question. It's possible the code was added by a developer with collaborator access or another app. Could you please provide more information about the code so we can help investigate further? We're committed to resolving this issue and ensuring your store functions smoothly. Original: There are no wishlist elements visible on your store. Kindly refer to the screenshot at URL below. Only in select cases we do manually customize the store after receiving collaborator account access, which was not the case of your store.
Great and easy app to use. Struggled to set it up on my own since I have a special theme and the support team fixed it immediately after I reached out. I think its a great app and super affordable. it has all the featured that other apps charge u over $30 monthly for and this app is just $5. luv it

I recently integrated the Smart Wishlist app into my Shopify store and found its functionality quite impressive. The features are robust and add value to the user experience. However, I've encountered a persistent issue regarding customizing the padding of the Wishlist button within the app. Unfortunately, despite my repeated attempts to resolve this, the response time from the support team, particularly from Roy, has been slower than expected. Regrettably, it has been over 3 weeks now, and the problem remains unresolved, which is impacting the functionality I aim to offer on my store. While the app itself is good, the delayed resolution of this issue has been disappointing. I hope the support team can expedite their response and address this matter promptly.

Almost the only wishlist app compatible with my website. Convenient and fast. As an improvement, maybe something like a popup can be opened to see the wishlist. Thus, users do not have to navigate between pages.

Although it works, their customer service seldom answers my email. If you need to make a custom wishlist page, it may be hard to find someone to answer your questions or fix your problems. The app doesn't work. I opened a ticket 3 days ago, no response. Definitely not to be installed, customer support does not exist. Totally bad experience.

UPDATE: I have just learnt that they do not offer a feature that I believe is basic on all wishlist applications. The ability to see how many other people have added that product to their wishlist (to show popularity). I wanted to write a review and show my appreciation for these guys. I have a custom coded website where products tagged with 'Coming Soon' don't have a buy now button. I soon found out (after a few sales and head scratching) that people could still add them 'coming soon' products to a wishlist and purchase it from there. Roy was amazing when I expressed my concern and went above and beyond to fix my problem. He fixed my issue within 24 hours and now I can sit back without worry of selling products that aren't actually in stock yet :) Thanks guys! I wish you all the best for your future!
This is a great app that has all of the features we needed. It allows you to customize the URL of your wishlist page, no developer branding visible, allows you to customize the link and language for where users can login to save their wishlist, guest users can create a wishlist and all language is customizable. Their support was quick in helping us fix one CSS issue. The price is great and they don't rip you off based on how many people use it. Thank you for a solid app at a good price!
So easy to setup and use. Had a small issue with the wishlist display, emailed support and it was fixed within hours. I also wanted a customisation which they did at the same time.
Great support! With any app you run the risk of compatibility issues with your theme. We ran into an issue with our CSS when attempting to integrate the app. (Please note we did it ourselves and did not utilize the free installation offered, lesson learned). We contacted support and they got right on it to fix our issue. A special thank you to Roy for taking such great care of us!
So far, I have been extremely pleased with this app, it is inexpensive, it works fast, people are putting a wish list together already and the customer service really rocks, I let them do all the setup, because I can't do it very well and they did an excellent job within 2 business days, it was all set up just have to be a little patient at first. And a follow up... when a setting on my computer messed me up they spent over an hour on my computer remotely and finally found the issue and fixed it. You guys rock !!!

This app was simple to install, and easy to use. It looks nice, too. However, we had some issues with functionality, and reached out to the developers for help multiple times, with no response. Our issue was pretty time sensitive to us, because we were running a promotion that involved the wishlist feature, so the lack of a response from them was a huge turn off. We'll be uninstalling due to the problem with the functionality that still hasn't been addressed (as far as I know), and the lack of professional communication.

We are aware of the issue you had mailed us. Our team has been regularly trying to reproduce it, but the issue is unusual and didn't appear in their testing. We understand that it is frustrating to receive complaints from customers, but fixing an issue which doesn't show up easily could be time consuming. There could have been some lack of communication, but please be assured that none of the issues (even minor ones) are ever taken lightly by us. We hope it would be fixed very soon.
All in all good. Loading times okay. Downside: In July 2019 it was announced that automated Emails will be coming soon. Never happened. It's a solid app, sad though that promises here were not kept to integrate Emails. We might need to be looking for another app to fullfill this requirement.

Really easy to install and setup! I like the fact that customers can share their wishlist in social medias and it will show the images of a product in their wishlist. Awesome app, thank you!!
Such a simple Wish List App to implement...after spending months with another App which amended so much liquid it was impossible to keep track, it's a joy. Needed a bit of support with customising the icon, but it was brilliant, above and beyond really. It does add out of stock items to cart too...so I dispute below review. Highly recommended. FYI Works with 4.6.3 of Font Awesome icon.
Overall this has very basic wishlist functionality. When any items on the wishlist are out of stock, then "Add to Cart" does NOT work at all. To make things worse, the App Developer has not even responded to us for 4 weeks after we reported this problem to them. So I'm rating this as 1 star because I could not give it 0 stars.
I really liked the app, first of all support made the installation myself, I didn 't have to encode anything - I 'm not a specialist. And I translated everything into my native language, all fields are accessible and everything is well thought out!
Super little app that packs a punch.Looks great on our theme, is nice and discreet, user friendly and lets you see what customers are liking and the effects it has on your shop. Have already noticed customers returning to complete a purchase days later. Am made up!

The app was install in less than one minute. I search my products pages to see the app and their it was. It looks great and now to see if my customer likes it.
**PLEASE READ :) Ok before I go into details about an issue, I want to let everyone know that this app is perfect for any website that has over 100 items to choose from I would say. The typical shopper, including myself dont like to back track and hunt down things I liked. This app solves that, makes it VERY EASY for the shopper, and does not require them to have an acct to favorite things. And just a tip on the side, if you are a site owner I would really reconsider making it mandatory to have an acct to use a withlist. It makes or breaks a deal with me, I dont like the forceful pressure of it and hassle of making an acct to begin with. This Smart wishlist app in admin section lets you see what was Favorited and when, and what was removed. Perfect and straight to the point. Shoppers see a simple go to heart on search pages and on individual item pages. No messy advertising nothing like that.. actually spiced up my pages lol. Very simple to remove or add to cart for shoppers, and the wishlist tab is on the side and do not need to hunt for it. NOW THIS is important, and I hope I didnt lose anyone:o Ok after looking at MANY apps for wish lists or favorites, reading through reviews and pricing etc, I noticed most reviews on some were because of a similar situation I had with installing (not setting up) the app, and anyone installing this app or any other app for that matter keep this in mind for the future. MY SYMPTOMS when I decided on this app I clicked get app, or install, which ever it said, and when I did it came to an error stating warning this is a bad website and can put you at risk, and would not let me install it, contacted shopify, they sent out a request to app to help resolve situation. So me being persistent, I was reading all warnings and clicking any tab for more info. Helpful to look at the address bar of the warning, always right click where padlock is supposed to be for a dialog box to pop up and give you more info. By me doing this I was able to see key words leading me to believe it was my ROUTER SETTINGS restricting me from seeing/downloading. Your router can have filters on it. I have my router set to medium because I have kids new to the internet. SO, I turned that setting OFF, and I was able to install the app without any warnings. (then I turned my router settings back ON) And not even 10 min later after downloading, had to be sooner than that the developer sent me an email asking if I would like assistance setting up the app in the store! I was like OMG YES! lOl So it was late for me, I went to bed, woke up and was delighted to see an email stating he set up the site! ( and this is still before shopify got back with me lol) So I look at the site, see lovely hearts on the page, sweet. Go to admin section of app within shopify click on it.. OHH GOSH I see that warning pop up again :(( then I try using the features of Smart Wishlist within my site, SYMPTOMS were, I could put items in my wishlist but when I went to the wishlist there was nothing. So I contacted customer service and told them about the issues I had installing the app and now how some features not showing right. They asked me what were symptoms and what kind of errors. I sent them photos of what was going on, and tried to be descriptive (make sure you get url's in there too and any dialog boxes when you right click for more info.) So, meanwhile I asked several friends and family to check it out and see if they can favorite things and see in their wishlist. They said they could! Ok then.. I remembered about my router settings. Turned it off and voila! I could see and use everything within app and admin section. So I told the app developer im not too worried about it because it seems like other people (customers) are able to use it and I will just mess with my settings when I want to use admin section. Next day I have an email stating they found the issue! They pursued it anyways! When they didnt have to! The customer service is amazing, and it is very important that they enjoy what they do, and THEY DO! Because on other favorites or wish list apps reviews ive seen, those companies dont even want to dig in to see what the problem is. So I guess the problem was sleeping in the background .. thats the best I can describe that lol. If you have or HAD any of these issues I would definitely try using the app again! I just cant stress enough on how much of a pleasure they were to work with.. because they cared, and it shows. This Smart Wishlist App has everything I want and nothing I dont need or what customers dont need for that matter :) I will have over 1000 items within my site when im finished with it, and this Smart Wishlist App has saved me from losing clients and potential new clients with its easy to use easy on the eyes features. Added this to our shop with a small bit of customization to fit with the look of our website. Customization was complete within a few hours and looks beautiful. We have been using it for a few days now and it functions perfectly. Very happy!
I've been using the app for a few month and it is well worth the money. Based on usage it seems like customers enjoy the function of creating the list. As a business owner, I like that I get to see what customers are adding. It gives me some insight into what items people are most interested in even when they don't buy right away. So far I've had a great experience with this app. The service is top notch! I had questions about the app before I tested it that were immediately answered. After install, I had an issue with icons not displaying on my website & Abhishek quickly addressed the issue. His solution was actually a huge improvement to my website & I appreciate his extra effort. It was above & beyond what I expected. Also, the wishlist app is much more flexible than another wishlist app I tested. It's easy to customize colors & text & it matches my website perfectly. It's an added bonus that customers don't need an account to use it, so I think that will encourage more people to use the wishlist.
I am changing my review because the support is kind and helpful. The app has still some problem in the dashboard, but they say they will fix it. Anyway most function is now working
Of all the wishlist apps out there, I decided to go with this one for a few reasons. 1) the look and feel 2) the wishlist page 3) the wishlist icon could be displayed on collection pages 4) don't require customers to register to save their wishlist. I tried to install the app myself, but decided it would be better to request their free installation. Abhishek was quick to reply and had it by the next day. I had another minor change with spacing and again Abhishek was quick to get it done. It's only been a few days since I installed the app, but so far so good. I wish i could have given 10 stars for all the out of the world support provided by Abhishek. The app works fantastic on the store and i have lot of data too generated by the app which can be worked upon. here are five thing which makes this THE BEST wishlist application on shopify: 1- it generates lot of analytical data for further use 2- i have tried all the apps on shopify for wishlist feature and this work smoothest of them all. 3. with great support provided by the developer, i could get it all set according to the theme design without any hassle. 4. it works without or with customer logged in! which is so great! 5. wishlist loads much faster than all the other apps available on store and looks great on mobile too. if you are looking for a wishlist app. this is it! Best Shopify App Support i have experienced! Abhishek their support guy set it up for me and tested it through and gave me an update. Then i had a few requests on how to make it look the best in my store - 15 minutes later he had configured it to my store's needs! Deserves more than 5 stars ;-)
The customer service really is 24/7! They also respond quickly, with answers to ALL of your questions and are super receptive to any changes that needed to be made on the appearance and placement of the wishlist buttons. They worked on it extremely fast--we downloaded it late one night and it was up and running on our site with their programming by the next morning! This addition to our site was installed seamlessly.

Smart Wishlist has been great for allowing customers to save their favorite items for future reference. It also allows us to see what customers "would like to have."
Great addition to our site, for a great price. Easy to set up and customize but if you have trouble Smart Wishlist staff will help for free. They even contacted me directly to let me know of some customization changes I could make to improve the app and it's use on my site. Definitely recommend this app if you are looking for a wishlist option for your customers.

Works great! Having the wish list feature is very helpful, especially on inventory heavy stores like ours (it saves customers a lot of time searching). Our conversions have risen as well - big plus. Not only that, but you can see reports of the most popular items added to the lists, which has a huge impact on determining popularity of items without needing to look at just what's sold. That benefit alone provides tremendous insight. The support from the team is AMAZING - I have a lot of apps, but the level of hands on work to get everything to work just right is way above and beyond. I cannot recommend this team and app enough.

I tried a few different wish list apps before finding this one. I can honestly say this app has everything I was looking for! The ability to have a wish list that doesn't require the customer to log in is essential in my opinion! The customer service is top of the line. I added this app late into a Saturday evening and requested for them to set it up for me. Within a couple of hours it was up and running! They even customized it to match my theme. The next day, Sunday, I requested a modification and it was done immediately. I am rating this app five stars for being an outstanding app and also for the excellent customer service. Thank you!
Great app - Abhishek was quick to help me install and customize it, and it's been working great so far. Integration with Quick View would be a great feature, but I hear that is in the works.
Absolutely brilliant. We have quite a high volume of traffic, and selling lingerie, we have lots of clients who kept telling us they wanted a wishlist they could pass on to their partners. The wishlist needed to have a nice clean design, as well as handling product variants easily (e.g. sizing), and finally it must be very easy to share the list. We selected the app at lunchtime, easily added the one line of code (clear instructions are given), and the developer had fine tuned it by the evening. It now perfectly matches our store, and the developer went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure it was totally accurate. Fantastic!! Uploaded the app and had an email within minutes notifying me they would be able to do free setup. Within a very short time, it was up and running perfectly including mobile and matching our theme. Had a question and had a response within minutes. HIGHLY recommend!!!
