Segments is a very useful tool for identifying our customer lifetime value across various groups, helping us deliver better experiences for all our customers across channels. Spreading happiness is the goal and seeing which products really resonate with people is invaluable. Customer service is five star, too.

This is an outstanding app that has taken our analytics and marketing to a whole new level! With MailChimp integration via Shopify tags, we set up seamless sales funnels, significantly boosted our revenue, and increased our customer retention rate. The support team deserves special praise – they respond quickly and clearly, always helping to resolve any issues. Definitely worth the investment!

Tresl has been a great partner to us! Prior to working with them, we struggled with where to analyze behavioral patterns and common purchase behaviors. This is the most underrate analytics tool out there on Shopify. Segments provides amazing insights on cohort analysis - we're able to parse data tailored to our questions and needs. This allows us to take cohort data and easily put actions behind it (campaigns, new audience targeting, CRO with other tools) with it. John, the founder, is also extremely helpful in walking through the platform with you. We recommend Tresl has a top 5 tool for store growth.

Segments is a great app. It immediately identified groups of customers we could reach out to and build email flows for... and it organized them for us both in Shopify and in Klaviyo. some of the stuff it created was "obvious" and we could have maybe created the segments ourselves, but it was great that it just handled it for us and honestly we never actually would have gotten around to it ourselves. Plus it also came up with 10 segments that we would not have really thought about. Anyway, great app to try!

Great app to integrate with Klaviyo and determine valuable information such as CLV in a visually appealing way. The app is simple to navigate and I enjoy the FilterGPT option to build segments quicker as it is very intuitive. We have also found Segments to be particularly useful in the process of building our Loyalty customer segmentation. The team at Segments are have always been very responsive and helpful making the use of the app even more beneficial to us.

Highly customizable segment building and analytics, and when we were looking for an insight that was not available out of the box, the team was willing to build a custom report for us. Our team is quickly able to create segments from your app (custom segments based on filters), exporting them to Google ads and running ads. The good thing is that when the segment gets updated the audience is dynamically synced to google so we Dont need to re-upload the lists continuously. Also, we have triggered some email campaigns when people are added to lists like at risk loyals, churned loyals, active loyals etc ., So, I get to hear great feedback from our customers which is helping us fix issues and streamline processes.

I haven't seen a product that's as well-thought-out as Segments, and I've been in eCommerce for close to a decade. It's an intrinsic part of my 'DTC stack' and has quite possibly saved me days, if not weeks' worth of data-crunching time. Having spoken to @johnchao and his team, I've been blown away by their attention to detail. You can see this from the dashboard - each section has context and is part of the overall story. It's not just metrics randomly thrown together. It's made for regular folks to make data-driven decisions so that they can focus their lives on the decision part rather than the data part. This app really helped us identify segments such as churned customers, loyal customers, and more to integrate into our email marketing on Klaviyo. A powerful tool that every store needs. It essentially organizes our customer data into digestible chunks of actionable information. The lifecycle and product journey features are particularly useful, as well as being able to build and integrate custom segments on the fly. The Klaviyo and Facebook integrations are game-changers for us. This tool is essential to truly understanding your customer’s behaviours.

Segments Analytics is one of my favorite Shopify apps, we started on the free plan but upgraded to the Growth plan... its worth it! I've learned so much about various segments of our customers (cohort, purchaser of X product, customers who we've engaged with Y marketing initiative) using the app. It has the cohort analysis that you'll find with other apps, but gives you the ability to cut (segment) that data in a lot more nuanced ways! The app provides a level of intelligence that'd I've only seen larger orgs with a data science team have access to. I'm very happy to have these insights at my finger tips. Also, the customer services for the app is great. Any time I've had questions, I've gotten an answer within a couple hours.

Very usefull app, helps you digging deeper in your data. Very easy to use, it enables you to build very relevant segments, and then send it to Klaviyo or SMA audiences... Also the support and their datascientist are always available to help. I recommend !

This app has been a fantastic addition to our site. It provides some really interesting data for us to use. It is especially handy being able to segment our customers (we use customer tags for different pricing on site) and now with a few simple clicks we have all the key metrics we need at our fingertips instead of ploughing through endless spreadsheets to analysis monthly sales. The playbooks are also really helpful, and although our email system doesn't have an available integration with segments, it still allows us to build a workflow for each of the main lifecycles of our customers. There are some new releases in V2 that I haven't had chance to fully look into as yet, but the product relationship area is sure to grow sales. And we will definitely be making use of the Facebook integration that has been recently added. The support team are second to none. we've had a couple of instances where we needed to chat and the team (John specifically) reply quickly, and are super friendly and helpful. Don't be put off by the cost, the insight this app gives has saved hours of my time, and is working in growing our sales each month. It's definitely one that is going to pay for itself.

It's very useful because it is easy to get data that we have to assign a data scientist to make it usually. And customer support are very awesome. I ask request so many times, then they response very quick and kind. If you want to growth your business by your data, I highly recommend this app. I request more app that can integrate.

Amazing support from John and Tony. As well as CLV and other great info, the thing we get the most value from is syncing the segments to Klaviyo, and then syncing those from Klaviyo to Facebook custom audiences. We then run retargeting on them. Very effective and worth the subscription price alone.

These guys are whizzes at data visualization, and are super helpful + responsive with custom requests that come with your product catalog. The app keeps improving and as such, is a key tool for our whole team to better understand customer behavior.

We originally installed Segments to have access to better customer and product data which helped inform business decisions. We were happy with the mid-tier analytics we had access to. We realized our business needed even deeper insights and decided to upgrade our Segments account to the Enterprise level which gives us access to the team behind Segments to act as our data analysts. We've worked on countless projects with the team and have received reports and recommendations around specific business cases that have changed how we're thinking about product assortment and customizing our marketing strategy based on insights.

After looking and trying many different customer analytics/customer loyalty apps for both insights and syncing to Klaviyo, this one is the best we've found. The analytics , UX, and design of how data is presented is very intuitive and questions we had our customers were answered in one of the many different tabs. The ability to sync to our marketing stack incl FB and Klaviyo is very helpful. Don't think we'll need a data team for a while as this will take us far.

I've only been using this app for about a week. I encourage you to install it for at least 1 month to gain the insights. I have been able to redirect our email flows and other teams with the easy to view information. It wasn't that we couldn't parse this ourselves, but it is saving us money by doing it quickly and presenting is better.

Really impressed with the Segments app. Helps get clarity on CLV, and other key metrics that arnt easily available on Shopify. We use Recharge for subscriptions and the Segments data tags and filters help us separate subscriptions and non-subscriptions ARPU to see whether we are moving in the right direction. Well done

As a Shopify Expert and marketer, Segments is an absolute joy to work with. Rather than having to mine data in Google Analytics and create endless dashboards, Segments provides actionable metrics without ever having to setup a dashboard or custom report. As an agency, we've used Segments prior to its App Store launch to assess the customer behaviour on both Shopify Plus stores and new start-ups.
