Love, love, love this app! It was a game-changer for us! We have shops on Shopify and Etsy, so being able to update, modify, and create listings in one place saves us tons of time. Recently, Vela made an upgrade to their platform that uses AI to optimize copy, create product images, and write SEO ehanced alt tags. I had the privilege of speaking to Justin, one of the creators, and he clarified how it works. When you click the button to optimize tags, titles, descriptions, etc., it tailors everything based on whether you’re listing for Shopify or Etsy. The score it gives you is based on each platform’s specific algorithm—not a generic one-size-fits-all system. So basically, Vela uses different criteria depending on where you’re selling, which makes it way more accurate—and means we don’t have to write everything outside of Vela anymore.
I’ve been using Vela and so far it’s been a great experience. The app is easy to use, smooth, and does exactly what I need it to do. Justin was especially wonderful—he answered all my questions clearly and made everything feel simple and stress-free. That kind of support really makes a difference. I’m loving the app so far and looking forward to using it more. I’ll come back and update my review in a few months!

I Love Vela and have seen it continue to improve over the last year or 2 that I've been a user. I use it multiple times a week as I'm continuing to improve and grow my own business, and having Vela allowed me to expand beyond Etsy and create my Shopify site and my initial offerings on Faire. I have been using Vela since it was in beta several years ago and I can't begin to tell you how many hours of manual work it saved me. I use it for my shop on other platforms as well. Has been working flawlessly and it's so much easier to use than the clunky built-in "bulk editing" Shopify offers. Not to mention the friendly, fast support you receive when you do run into any issue. Super happy, love it!
Love this app—and the fast, responsive customer service is a huge bonus. The interface is clean, intuitive, and makes it incredibly easy to find and bulk edit listings, pricing, and product details. Compared to other bulk editing tools, Vela is far more polished and user-friendly (most others feel clunky, outdated and kinda ugly). Vela is smooth enough to confidently hand off to a VA or team member, which alone makes it incredibly valuable. We use it daily to optimize SEO, update listing titles and descriptions, create pricing profiles, and manage product photos—all in one place. The built-in AI photo editing is a game changer. Being able to edit and improve images directly inside Vela saves so much time compared to exporting designs to Canva and re-uploading them into Shopify. If you manage a Shopify store with more than a handful of products and value your time, this app is absolutely worth the price!
This app is a must have if you are an active seller looking to sell across multiple selling platforms. Editing between multiple stores in one app is a game changer. Vela also listens to their customers which has been evident over the last few years. I have directly interacted with one of the creators of Vela, so customer service does not get any better. Buckle up because Vela will be expanding to new selling platforms in the very near future.

Super happy with the customer service for this app. I was able to get help right away through the chat, and then even through Zoom. A lot of intensive one on one help and questions answered! I am able to use Vela to update my listings and save SO much time. Also really excited about the new features coming out!

This app has been a game changer for me! I am not one to use apps like this for my business generally but I stumbled upon this and have been using it to help create/update/change my listings on ETSY for the last two years. It has saved me enormous amounts of time and is very user friendly. Adding my current listings on ETSY to SHOPIFY now and this app has made it so easy. Can't say enough good things about it. I have been using Get Vela for about 15 months now and every time I think I have it all figured out, I find yet more capabilities that I didn't even know about! It is constantly evolving and improving and makes my life so much easier in listing on Shopify and Etsy (and soon - eBay too). In addition, Justin and his team are always available to help whenever I have a question - even a silly one! I started using Vela for my Etsy shop and I honestly dreaded how I was going to copy all of my listings over to Shopify once I opened my own store but using Vela made it so easy to copy them all over, especially since my catalog is over 250 SKU's. The bulk editing feature is really useful, especially for photos that are specific for Etsy listings. Support is really helpful and responsive as well.
Their bulk editor saved me tons of work. Their support was super helpful and help me figure everything out quickly and easily. Third app I've tried for bulk editing and moving forward the only one I will use for the foreseeable future.
We have been using Vela for our Etsy shop for the past 5+ years, and have recently begun to leverage Vela for our new Shopify site. The functionality for bulk editing is excellent and has saved us countless hours of editing. Most importantly, the support is 5-star. Never have to wait and questions/issues are answered or resolved same day. Vela is also quick to roll-out new functionality and to invest in making the software increasingly more powerful. We have a large catalog and we couldn't operate our business without such an amazing solution and support team from Vela!

This app has solved many of the problems I've had that Shopify alone could not solve. Replacing a color chart on my 700+ listings was completed in a matter of minutes! The customer service was fantastic and answered my question very quickly! Update: Feb 2025 - still using the app to tackle tasks! My shop needed an update to the shipping method and I needed to add weights to each variant on every listing. I edited 1 listing, created a profile for the shipping info and applied to all my other listings at once. It's incredible how easy it is to use this app and the customer service is THE BEST. I get responses within minutes if not the same minute
If you want one stop for all tagging and categorizing all of your products , So I would say take a trail with this tool. You won't regret your single penny, Thanks for the creator
Great app that makes things much quicker, especially when syncing my Etsy store to Shopify. Customer service is quick to respond and fix issues and they keep updating/adding features! Wish there was a smart feature for inputting SKU's. We change our sku's according to shoe size and inputting it manually is a pain!
This app is the only thing keeping me sane with the integration of my Shopify and Etsy shops. I use another app for inventory tracking, which also allows me to create templates for different collections. I was banging my head against the wall for weeks trying to figure out why Etsy kept knocking my listings out of the category when a template was attached to a listing (I'm sure this was my user error). I was hesitant to start using another app since I feel like there is an app for absolutely everything. In my opinion, Etsy and Shopify are two separate beast, and Vela was a lifesaver for me through this transition. Not to mention the excellent, friendly customer service. If I was asking the AI robot a question it couldn't answer, a human would jump in and help me troubleshoot. I can't wait for Vela to add inventory tracking to their platform. I would highly recommend this app to anyone. This is must for any Shopify shop and bulk editing. Love it!

I loved using Vela to transfer over my listings from Etsy over to Shopify! Followed the videos found on the website. Super efficient. Not only that, but when I had an issue, I contacted Vela via email to resolve the glitch in the transfer, and the customer service team was quick to fix it! Thank you Vela!!
This app is the best way I've found to get into and edit backend information for both Shopify and Etsy. It's also easy to move listings from one platform to the other! And now that they are coming out with importable updates, changing prices will be easier than ever. I also love the timed update feature, I use this quite often to put things on sale - and then to take things off sale again. No more forgetting!

I recently opened a Shopify store & used Vela to transport all my products over from my Etsy shop. Super easy to use, made it all so quick. Massively thankful for this app. AI suggestions were helpful to improve all my product descriptions in the transfer between shops. Still using it, it makes bulk editing products much easier than in Shopify, and now using it to clean up & improve all my photos. Definitely gets 5 stars from me & well worth the money I paid for it. Had 2 things I needed to ask customer support about, and both times their replies were fast & helpful. Looking forward to them adding Ebay intergration soon.
Fantastic tool for managing and updating our Shopify products. This app has saved us countless hours in writing great descriptions, tagging and optimizing all our listing. The AI integration is fantastic. Highly recommend this app at a very reasonable price. Support to get you up and running has been extremely responsive. The app is very intuitive but I had some question and the support team answered very quickly and was very helpful!
I like being able to edit my listings in Vela, over doing it on etsy and shopify. Vela allows me to copy over my listings from Etsy to Shopify and edit them before uploading at my pace. I appreciate the speed that this app has gained over the years I've used it. I've been using it for many years to edit my etsy listings in ways etsy doesn't allow and it made sense to use them for my shopify too.
I sell on Etsy as well as Shopify. Transferring my products from my Etsy store to my Shopify store via Vela has been smooth and easy! I've been able to learn on my own how to do everything, and if I can't figure it out, there's plenty of Youtube videos out there, and the Vela team always responds to my questions via chat. They walk me through all the steps, until I understand. If you are an Etsy seller, this app is a must!
I love the Vela app because, in my opinion, it's the ONLY way to manage multiple listings in one store, or even across multiple channels. My favorite is the "Profile" and the "Bulk Edit" functions. And the genius way to link product photos to variations is the biggest time saver for me. Each of my listings has seven material options and a range of 3-15 size options. Updating these manually would be impossible and an ineffective use of my time. The best part about the bulk edit and photo linking is how I can scan down the photos and variations inventory to double-check that all have linked photos. The variations that still need a photo link have 100% transparency and stand out from those already connected (which have a degree of opacity). Very helpful! Another significant aspect of Vela is the customer support. Every time I have reached out for help in the Chat, Justin responds immediately! You can't beat that! Thank you, Justin!
Where has this app been my entire life!? I've spent hours uploading and changing product descriptions and photos across multiple Shopify and Etsy stores - this platform takes all the heavy lifting out. I can easily update products across multiple platforms in seconds (what used to take me hours). Justin is also so helpful and quick to answer any questions I had when getting started. Can't recommend this app enough and looking forward to seeing what future integration they launch. 10/10!
This is a lifesaver, specially if you have Shopify and Etsy stores. It will save you countless hours of tedious work. The interface is intuitive and very well-designed. If you’ve been dreading updating your shop because of the time it takes to manually open, change, save and close a ton of listings, then this app is for you!! It’s been a huge time saver for both my Etsy shops and also my Shopify store. Even if all it did was bulk editing, it would have been worth it. The fact that it can also sync listings between my stores is epic! Love it. Totally recommend it.

I love this app, it saves me SO MUCH time. I've always had a good experience with support if/when needed, too, which is very important. Like many others I've used this app from (nearly?) the beginning, and nobody like price increases, but as a business owner I understand it is necessary. I've been selling on Etsy for 5 years and just started a shop on Shopify. It wouldn't have been possible without Vela. I was able to copy photos, videos and all the descriptions of over 500 items from Etsy to Shopify. This app is a must for me now for cross channel copying and bulk editing between my 2 shops. Also Vela is one of very few integrations certified by Etsy, so that is one of the reason I used Vela. Thanks for creating this great app!

Stellar! We have been users of Vela for many years and the platform continues to amaze us. WOW this app brilliant, just works and has saved me valuable time. Having had this app only a short time, I have used it for bulk editing on both my Shopify sites. I have used it for the following; Bulk editing my prices to add on 20% vat Copied a compleat collection of 110 products with variations, edited the descriptions and moved them to a new collection. Bulk removed photos from collections. Added a new products with variants to two collections. As for using the app there is a lot of very helpful tutorial videos.
On my 3rd month of using Vela now and I can't imagine being without it now. If you want to update existing products or upload new ones, this will save you endless hours and completely streamline the process for you. Their in app support is always on hand to help with technical questions and their archive of how-to videos is comprehensive and invaluable. For reference, I am the marketing director for a high volume, high value Shopify store. I have used and tested many Shopify apps over the years and this one is a unicorn. For $10 a month, we are saving 10s if not hundreds of hours a week.
In a marketplace flooded with low quality apps from developers rushing out products and features without understanding customer use cases, Vela is such a well designed and executed tool for listing creation and management it's hard not to be impressed. Everything I've tested so far works flawlessly (barring user error), and I've been using the original etsy-only Vela for a long time and never had an issue. This is also one of the few apps that gets actively promoted inside the Etsy control panel for store owners, and they don't add tools lightly. I've obviously got a long list of feature requests, but what I've used so far does the job really well.

I love this ap. Been using it since the free version. Happy to pay for it now becasue it saves me SO MUCH TIME. I am not the type of person who can list via .csv files, I need the visuals, and Velas layout makes my listing process streamlined.

This is an AMAZING APP. It truly does what it says.... allows you to bulk edit your ETSY store and your SHOPIFY store and copy listings between both. I can not imagine the hours it would have taken me to do this manually. It is the reason technology exists and there is just no reason not to use this to save time and stress. It is affordable and easy to use and the support is incredible. They are VERY responsive and the program is logical and not hard to use. Do your self a huge favor and get this app. Seriously !!
When I say that Vela's new features nearly made me cry tears of joy, it is NOT an exaggeration. Being a one woman show, I have literally hundreds of items that just never get listed, or take a year or more to list. When I would sit down previously and list my item in Etsy and then in Shopify it would take me an hour plus for each item, so I would rarely take the time out to do so as I needed to be in the studio making jewerly instead. With Vela Create and Vela Profiles it takes me MINUTES to list something new. I can pop up a few listings easily on my laptop while I watch tv with the family instead of taking a whole day out to try to get new items up or just never listing them and losing the chance at revenue. I've used vela on and off for years and it's always been handy, but Create and Profiles are an absolute game changer. Another huge plus is Vela serving as a workaround to Etsy not allowing roles or assistants to access our shop if they are not at your IP address. I recently hired a virtual assistant in another country and she can log into Vela to help with my Etsy without the risk of Etsy shutting me down. Vela is an absolutely necessary tool for your toolbox if you want to streamline your business and spend your time where it counts.
This product is really great for anyone with a large inventory. It takes a few minutes to get used to it, but the value add and productivity is incredible. It is easy to navigate and can bulk edit almost everything. Great job team!
I use Vela for Etsy and Shopify and it makes me life soooooo easy. Thank you. Today I had an issue with my Shopify not refreshing. I reached out on the chat and they had refreshed my shop before responding to me a minute or two after I reached out. I very appreciate the quick service a lot. Thank you!
I'm new to Shopify and Etsy so having Vela to help me in connecting both shops has been a huge help! The ease of use, well-thought-out functionality, easy to follow instructional videos for all areas of use, make it a pleasure to use. Being able to set up variation profiles, tag profiles and other things you can't do in Etsy and Shopify is terrific! You get to try it out with full functionality for a full week before committing to the very reasonable monthly fee and the best part is whenever I've had a question I send a message to support and within minutes I've gotten a response. Even on Christmas Day when I stated in my message that I certainly did not expect to hear from anyone, Justin wrote back with help as he was heading to his Christmas dinner! Now that's what I call awesome customer support!! I wish there were more than 5 stars so I could give them to Vela!
I've been using Vela for awhile now and I would highly recommend it to anyone who sells on multiple e-commerce platforms. It's a great bulk product management software that allows me to manage my Etsy and Shopify products easily. I love the bulk product editing feature, variation profiles and Etsy product importer feature the most. This is a must have app for Etsy shop owners who are wanting to move their products to Shopify without a huge headache. I had a question late in the evening and clicked on their chat support button and was instantly connected with a live person. Not only did they answer, they sent me a link to log in remotely so they could show me how to do the task I was needing to do. Amazing customer service! I am so thankful for Justin taking the time to show me all the great new features Vela has to offer. They regularly update their software which anyone who sells on Etsy realizes this is important because changing products on Etsy is time consuming. These changes can be made quickly through Vela. Honestly, as long term user who has high expectations, Vela regularly exceeds them. The monthly subscription is well worth it, as it literally saves me hours of work by not having to go through and update and add my products manually. Very pleased with this product.
I've had this for a while and used it bulk edit Esty listings. Recently I've been trying to make a Shopify store and import listings using various apps and not one had everything I needed. Come to find out I already had what I needed and it couldn't be easier. I have thousands of Etsy listings with many many variants and its still a breeze. The only holdup is Shopify apparently has a variant limit of 1000 per day after you reach 55000 so be aware of that. This has nothing to do with Vela but its best to use Vela 100 listings or so at a time. Cant say enough good things about the program or Justin who was very helpful.
Great app with responsive customer support. I use this app to bulk update inventories between Etsy and Shopify. I have tried many apps to solve this headache, and Vela is hands down the easiest to use. They truly listen to customer feedback, and they have a roadmap full of upcoming updates. So many app subscriptions will take the money and run with few improvements and little customer support. It's refreshing to find a company whose developers are still involved in continuous improvement and updates.

WOW That is my first impression of this app. It is going to save me so much time listing on individual channels now I can do it all on this one app, I like the look of the pages they are easy to navigate well thought out and so so simple to use. Most of my products are customised and the app even supports this which I am super impressed with. I have had to reach out twice to customer support and both times Justin done a screen share with me and walked me through the issue I was having which was a simple user error and was resolved within a few minutes. I am excited to know that they are looking to add ebay and amazon in the future. Well worth the $10 per month as it will literally save me hours upon hours of listing the same products on multiple channels. Subscribe subscribe subscribe you wont regret it, I am so glad I have found this app. Lifesaver!
With over 300 listings, all with variations. Vela is the perfect app for managing my Shopify & etsy shop. Their customer response is always spot on. When an issue or question arises they are more then willing to listen and help in any way needed. I identified a couple bugs and they had them fixed within a day. No run around or trying to say it was me, they listened and fixed it. Ive managed Software roll outs and I wish they had been on my team. They get an A+ from me.

I hardly ever leave reviews but after spending a few hours with this app I can say I am very happy that I found it! Very user friendly and the couple of questions I did have were answered almost immediately on a Sunday evening! Not just that but they provided links to very helpful tutorials for each of my questions! Integrated my Etsy and shopify stores and made bulk edits in just a couple hours setup time. Published new listing from Etsy to shopify and visa versa! Can't wait to see how much time this app will save me and best of all I got it for half of what the competition was charging me. Awesome! Life changing! Simply put... this app has saved me so much time, stress, and messing around. It just does the job it was built to do. I have a lot of products and it still manages to keep up with the strain I put it under with huge multifaceted edits. My favorite part of Vela is being able to bulk edit images. Since using the app there's been multiple updates, so I look forward to what's to come.
My mind is blown with this app, this has saved me DAYS worth of work with just a couple of clicks. Worst thing is that I didn't know sooner. I am using it for both my Etsy and Shopify stores. The best thing about it is that you can transform any shopify listing into an Etsy listing with a couple of clicks, and vice versa. The hours this app will save me!! I also sell phone cases and the variant list is huge, so vela makes it super easy by using the profiles function to create a master profile of all my variations which will then apply in seconds to any future new designs. Customer service is incredible, they even got on a call with me when I felt really stuck so I definitely feel supported. Thanks for developing a great time saving app :)
This a great app for bulk editing listings. It has an intuitive design and is easy to use. You can easily add photos, skus, edit descriptions and titles, and the developers are there to help when you reach out for support. We use this app on a regular basis to optimize our listings and are looking forward to the updates for linking the store to Amazon and eBay.
A website developer I am not! Until the Vela app came along I spent long, laborious days editing my 500+ products. Now, with a little help from their terrific support, my time spent editing is now a fraction of what it was. Truly a fantastic product and well worth the money. Again, and I can't stress this enough, the support I've had has been first class. If you don't have this app you must love arduous, tedious work!
I've been using this app for at least 2 years, first on Etsy and now on Shopify and is one of my favourites. It has no comparison when it comes to erasing, adding or changing images in bulk AND adding or editing variations also in bulk! It is THE BEST app out there for this. Among the many functions, the ones for editing tags, prices and for search and replace text, whether is titles or descriptions are also very useful, easy to use, and convenient. 200% Recommended!!! Can't go wrong using Vela!
Excellent app and really good customer service. We have been using Vela for a couple of years and the features keep getting better. Its not cheap but worth the money for the time saved! We run two Shopify sites and an Etsy shop. Not only does Vela make bulk editing quick and easy but you can now copy listings from Etsy to Shopify and vice versa. For us this has been invaluable. You have to refresh the shop on vela before you start editing but as soon as you sync from Vela the changes are instant on your website or Etsy store. Really really good. When you have questions or need a nudge in the right direction customer service is always second to non. I really can't recommend these guys and this app highly enough. Really really good.
This app is a game changer. As a small business with over 350 items on Etsy and approaching that number on Shopify I am no longer afraid to expand! This app is a HUGE timesaver, and the support is some of the best I have ever experienced. I love this app! I have used Vela for years with Etsy and last year added it to my Shopify. I was able to make changes to the store this week in less than 30 minutes that would have been a day's work without Vela. Also, Justin has amazing customer service. Super fast and helpful! It's a bargain for what you get!
This app is the BEST option if you have Etsy and Shopify! It saves me so much time I can't even tell you. I just create a listing on Etsy and then copy it to Shopify within 1 click. The best feature is ability to create profiles, which mean you can bulk edit all your catalogs with 1 click to include photos, listing descriptions, prices, variables, and more. Previously I had to pay for 3 different apps to be able to manage my stores. Now I can do it with just one. And just to blow your mind even more... I've just had a question about 1 thing and send a question via chat. One of the app creator ask me if I want to chat over zoom and show him exactly what I am talking about!!!! I mean...customer service is just AMAZING. We chatted few minutes and he told me exactly what to do. I am so surprised at the quality of this app and the outstanding people behind it! Absolutely amazing App! I've been using Vela with my Etsy shops for almost 3 years and now opening up a new Shopify store, this has saved me hundreds of hours of valuable time. There is a slight learning curve, but if skim through the help files, it's very intuitive. I also had a small problem with some of my listings and within 1 hour it was fixed perfectly. They even went on a zoom call to hear my issue. VERY IMPRESSED! And for the price, $10 is nothing to update hundreds of products with a click of the button.
