Their support was AWESOME! I am using this as a workaround for our athletes pro pages, where users can filter by discipline and then search by pros. I needed the blog references changes to pros and they did so in less than 24 hours. They are awesome for being so low price. I was surprised they responded at all, let alone got it done so fast. And their rep Choong provided extremely fast response times to support the app when we had a question or needed help connecting the app to our new theme when we did a website upgrade. Easy to communicate with! As a gourmet foods store with extensive recipe collection, this app helped us serve customers looking for how to use our products in various combinations. The amount of filters is very versatile, enabling customers to isolate recipes using our different collections of flavoured oils and vinegars. The app is simple on the back end and simple on the forward-facing end. No overly complicated bells and whistles. Exactly what we wanted. We appreciate that this app is free. As a small business, adding on many apps that cost $ is just not possible. We really, really love this app.

5 Star app for sure. Had a little trouble getting the app to load with our theme. Reached out to support and they replied pretty quickly, got it running, and tailored the colors to match our theme. Why doesn't Shopify have a blog filter built in??? After all, isn't a filter an obviously needed feature? Shopify should purchase this app and add it as a standard feature. But that's not likely gonna happen, so this feature becomes a perfect fit. Looks sharp and gets the job done.

I can't say enough good things about this app and the support we have received. At first, we couldn't figure out how to get the filter to display on our blog. One email and about 12 hours later and we had an incredibly helpful response. We granted collaborator access to their team and within minutes they wrote custom code AND styled the plugin to match our site. It works beautifully, and their team has gone over and above to make sure we're satisfied. Don't sit on this plugin... Blog Article Filter Search PRO allows us to use tagging to enhance customer experience when searching within our recipe files. Setting up the filters I wanted was a quick and easy exercise, and the clean and simple look and feel of the app fit in with our over all brand sensibility. The customer service at Hue Apps is superlative. Our initial implementation was very fast and easy and later when I changed themes, Choong responded to a request for assistance immediately although it was after regular business hours. The re-integration was completed before I finished dinner--lightning fast service! FIVE STARS!

The customer service is awesome! They were super helpful and quick to respond. The two things that would be nice to have is 1) the capability for the search button to be on the blog posts and 2) the search button to be integrated on the actual page and not as a pop up.

I had a small issue with centering the filters on a page. I reached out for support and Choong responded within an hour and quickly fixed the problem, he even upgraded the look for us. It was perfect! Excellent support. I highly recommend this app based on my experience so far.

Fast and Friendly customer service. Search feature is just what we needed to take our blog to the next level. We needed a small change in layout that was not supported by our site code. So far so good! The filtering system is extremely user friendly on both the front end and the back end. The best part is that their customer service is second to none. They go above and beyond to help you with whatever you need and don’t make you wait days for it. Would recommend to any blogger or business owner who wants a UX upgrade for their blog.

Great app that adds ability to filter blog posts by topics you choose. The interface is deceptively simple and yet very flexible as it is based on tags. Tags can be easily grouped to appear as drop down lists on the site. Some blog apps will only group posts if you have divided your posts among separate blogs, which I did not want to do, so this app filled my needs perfectly and was also the simplest to set up of the four I evaluated before choosing Blog Article Filter Search Pro. The only thing I would like to see more is the ability to customize the appearance of the filter buttons from the app, though my impression is that their support would be more than happy to assist with customization if desired. I had made a custom blog page which did not automatically work with the app as the app is made to Shopify's default blog page, and contacted support who was very fast to make everything work and with appearance as I desired.

Our theme doesn't have the ability to apply search filters so I added this app so our blogs are more searchable. It is exactly what I was looking for and they even went a step further to help match it to our theme and fix it when it wasn't showing up immediately.

This blog filter app is very helpful! Since Shopify doesn’t support any useful way to navigate blogs, I was looking for a solution that would help my customers find the information they needed. I looked at a lot of possible apps, but this was the only app that did what I wanted! Using this app, I was able to organize my blog articles into “buckets” of the same content topics and then create filters for my users to find the specific information they want in that topic “bucket”. For example, I use topic buckets such as Guides & How-To’s, Holidays, Birthstones… and more. Within each topic, I’ve set up my blog filter dropdowns to narrow the content. E.g, under Birthstones, they can specifically choose “May’s Birthstone”. Even better, with this app’s filters, the user can choose multiple topic dropdowns to filter all the content down to what they are looking for. This is a huge help once you have a lot of articles, as Shopify gives no help at all with blog navigation. The other thing I like is that the filter is based on the standard blog tags - so I didn’t have to do anything special for this app to work. No hidden tags or other app-specific workarounds. That was important to me, as I don’t have time to re-do everything for an app-specific solution. I also want to give a big THANKS to the app developer(s)! They helped me customize their filter to match my site’s branding. I also found a couple of issues/UI requests after using the app - those were quickly fixed. I appreciate that they listened to my ideas on what would improve the app’s user experience and made those changes. Note I am using the filter part of the app, not the search functionality. Unfortunately, Shopify’s search API only allows the developers to search the blog titles, not the text of the blog. This means that searches don’t work well, since blog titles don’t have the words the user would search for. I’m disappointed that Shopify’s API works this way. Until that is fixed I am not going to use the search functionality of this app. Thanks for the great app! cynthia

An app is only as good as its developer and these guys are not only responsive but also pro-active. They fixed an integration issue with our theme and in the process, also refined the heading of our blog theme. So impressed.

Great plug-in for those looking to narrow down information quickly via filtering drop downs. The only drawback is that the filtering itself is not dynamic, but hopefully that's a future feature. Why the 4-star rating vs. a full 5 star-- the app has had two hiccups and disappeared from its designated blog, but the team at HuesApps was able to remedy these issues within 24hrs. In comparison to most plug-in support, their team is not only quick, but they listen to our needs and can customize it to your needs. Highly recommend this cheap and easy to use app!

The filter works great for our blog that has tons of articles on varying topics. Our customers can now easily search by topic to find articles that answers their questions. We did have an issue with the filter completely disappearing off without reason, but customer service was quick to respond and fix the problem. As an added plus, they updated the format of the filter to better fit our theme.

When I went to the Dawn Theme (Shopify 2.0), they eliminated the "tags" at the top of each post, which is a challenge for our customers as we have a lot of blogs. Blog Posts Articles Filter Pro solved this problem by allowing easy navigation for our blogs. We had to get support when we moved from our Minimal Theme to Dawn Theme as the filters were initially not in alphabetical order, but this was solved within minutes. No kidding-the support was amazing. They even proactively recommended a style change. Absolutely great-highly recommended.

We're a membership site with several different blogs that will eventually have hundreds of blog posts (recipes, exercises, health tips etc) so needed some way to filter the articles simply and easily for customers rather than relying on the theme search that puts products, pages and articles all in the results. This app is perfect, the support fantastic and Choong even styled it for us to match our theme.

This app is great! I needed a better way to sort recipes on our website and this allows the functionality I needed/wanted to make the user experience better. The developer, Choong, was very responsive to help with any issues or customizations, and is working to improve some of behind the scenes user experience (which I think will take this app to the next level) from an ease of use and time saving ability. I did have to clean up my blog tags (recipe keywords) in Shopify to make this function exactly how I wanted, but it was worth it and I think it will be worth it for our users and clients.

Absolutely thrilled with this app. The lite plan is perfect for what we needed, just 1 blog that we use as a page for cocktail recipes. I wanted people to be able to sort by ingredients, spirit, category, difficulty level, etc, and this nailed it. I had an issue with needing to sort filters alphabetically and reached out to support. They got back right away letting me know this was something they would work on for the next update, but in the meantime, they made manual updates to my store's code to automatically sort, so the only problem I've had is completely solved. 100% happy with this.

Very carefull and proactive tech support, the app is a must have to upgrade shopify basic blog functionalitis. In my opinion, the app lacks some flaws of youth (button to reset all filters at the same time, some message text and formatting) but nothing that cannot be improved. for now it's a great job
