Great, highly professional, and patient customer support! Special thanks to Amy for her excellent assistance. The app is also great and very easy to use.
Out of all the apps we have used, this is definitely top 3. It is an absolute information machine particularly as we sell products that require limits. It allows us to analyse visitors and restrict user visits according to our needs. Well worth the investment for a small to mid-range business with decent traffic with the tools and information it provides.
BoostMark is a valuable app in the Shopify store, giving one extensive control over traffic. The support is what truly sets it apart. Amy has been exceptional, taking the time to investigate issues, help to configure settings and test everything thoroughly. She is responsive, patient and genuinely committed to helping merchants. I highly recommend BoostMark.
great Job on blocking countries outside of the United States who try to view or order on our site! Thank you!!
Extremely helpful support team with prompt reply, and the app is easy to use, very efficient and is a must for stopping the unwanted traffic, two thumbs up, deserve 5 stars!!
Very good app. It bascially meets almost all my needs to secure and protect my shopify store at a very reasonable price.
Probably one of the easiest to use apps ever and it works, instantly. Great value. This app saved $100's of dollars on apps where page views from outside our market were eating away other apps usage limits
This app works really very well, now can able to block region, city wise working really well
I've been using this app for 6 months now and i think every online store should have it as a necessary part of operation. Being able to block insane surges of sudden visits for example today from Singapore with isp Alibaba (US) Technology Co., Ltd. is so helpful. They are very quick to respond as well when you have questions and need help.
Works as expected, best app to block fraudulent orders at accessible cost. Our store was attached by bot/spam people placing orders with diff or same name, diff countries but using the same shipping address...I was receiving more than 10 a day....enabled this app and problem solved..just would be good to allow blocking by billing or shipping address, not only name or email, other than that very happy so far
Having a big problem with bots from China, At first country blocker worked perfectly, But the then change to VPN so they were coming from all cities and country since the urls they were going to were not real I add de URL blockers and that worked perfectly, with out blocking real visitors. Contacted customer service and they replied very quickly to help me.
Love this app works really good just wish when people visit say from Instagram it shows the link and there profile from Instagram
This is a great App. I worked immediately to block risky hits from countries around the world. Answers questions quickly with instructions!
Great app and easy to use! I have other security apps, as well, but I love how BM country blocker has specialized features, such as no $0.00 checkouts, and also gives me the ability to block bad actors from my shop.
5 Stars for Outstanding Support — Even Without Using the App! I downloaded this app but ultimately never needed to use it — yet I'm still giving it 5 stars, and here's why: The support team went above and beyond from the start. They took the time to analyze the bot traffic on my Shopify store and quickly identified the real problem: most of the bots were hitting my checkout page directly. They explained that their app filters traffic on the storefront, but can't intercept traffic on the checkout page since that's controlled by Shopify. Rather than leaving me stuck, they proactively recommended another solution — a WAF (web application firewall) that blocks bots before they even reach my store. I installed it, and it's been working great. What really won me over was their honesty. When I asked whether it made sense to keep both apps running, they straightforwardly told me their app probably wasn't necessary for my situation — unless bot traffic started coming through my other pages. No upselling, no runaround. That kind of integrity is rare. Highly recommend based on the support experience alone
I so very appreciate how timely and responsive you are to requests! I was curious if you had a way to export the store visitor log and boom - you came back with a solution. Thank you so much for making my job more efficient!
Blocker working very well and Amy is super hepful. Great app
This app is great, I had a lot of bots visiting my website which deflated our impressions and conversion rate, but with this app I was able to block majority of the bot locations
I would give 10 stars if possible. The app works 100% perfectly. Customer service is top-notch, responds quickly, and has helped us many times with bot attacks. I am very satisfied!
This app is great, my page was getting spammed with traffic from bots, suspicious vpns and countries that never buy anything or I don't sell to. Very easy to set up block lists and you feel very much in control of who you want to have access to your shop. Excellent!
We were being slammed with fake accounts and emails, all from other countries. This was very easy to set up and took our numbers down to our true customers. I check it about once a day to see if I need to add any countries to our blocked list and updating it is easy. Very happy with the app so far
I highly recommend this app. It’s complete, easy to use, and very well designed for efficiently managing a Shopify store. The features are powerful, and the customer support is truly professional, responsive, and helpful. An excellent app that I recommend to all Shopify merchants.
We have been getting massively spammed by bots from countries that we have never sold to. This app has helped tremendously. Thank you!!
Great app and amazing customer service! Amy helped me check my settings really quickly, and I really appreciate it. Highly recommend BM Country Blocker.
The ultimate country blocker app you need. It perfectly blocks what this app is all about.
Diese App macht genau, was sie soll. Funktioniert tadellos. Support rasch, hilfsbereit, freundlich und kompetent.
This app has been a game-changer for our Shopify store. BM Country Blocker IP Blocker helped us instantly stop fraudulent traffic and suspicious visitors from high-risk regions. Our chargebacks dropped significantly within days. Easy setup and very reliable. Highly recommended for serious businesses. By CS7LLC™- ChAudharySAqlain7LLC.com™
This app is amazing; it’s incredibly effective at blocking fraudulent bots and suspicious customers. A special mention goes to Amy from the support team—she is always fast, helpful, and provides definitive solutions to any issue. If you're looking for a reliable way to protect your store, this is it!
This app (and the excellent support) are lifeservers...er, site savers! A massive BOT attack was leaving 100s of abandon carts and actual purchases ("card checking" scheme with low price purchases). Long story short: After trying several options to block the BOTs...I found the Armex App. Setting up the Firewall and proxy server was a bit complicated (for me, at least) however the Armex Firewall support team walked me through it.
I used it for maybe an hour and I am very impressed by this. I can practically see in the stats how China's Temu "creators" who have been stealing my designs are now bumping their heads on the "access denied" wall. Thank you!
Pretty good so far, has blocked what i needed to block
I had paid for several apps on Shopify and none could effectively block bots without blocking seo bots. The VPN settings were default set at moderately high and there was no way around it. This app is by far the cheapest AND the most effective. the customer support is also very good. I am not a tech person and they broke down my issue with the checkout bot I had in a way I auld understand AND they told me what to enable to fix it. This app is very easy to use and the ability to see visits as human vs bot also makes it easy to streamline blocking and targeting IPs. Highly recommend.
I love this app. I was so sick and tired of fighting other countries with stealing my photos and product information, then listing them on their fake websites to fraud people out of money. Since I have installed this app, I have less intruders on my site and this app allowed me to disable the right click option to capture my text and photos. It's sad that we have to be diligent with this kind of fraud, but so thankful for this app because there would be no way for me to stop it without being consumed with it all the time and then I would be neglecting my business. This app is a must have for your shop!
Blocking certain countries has virtually eliminated the spam emails from "professionals" with mostly gmail addresses that have no relation to the name that is stated in their email. These email were offers to "audit" my website or to report the numerous errors that were detected. I also like the log that shows where the website visits originate as well as blocked visits.
I downloaded this app and a few others, and it brought even more countries in!! I had over 2,000 in one day! I wanted to block some countries from accessing my website. I have another app that can see who comes and goes; this app brought even more in! I contacted them, and they said, "Oh, you will still see it because they come to your website; we just don't allow them to go any further," which is a lie because my other app shows me exactly where they were going. Don't use this app; it will kill your bounce rate! After extensive research, I found an app that actually works!

We have never said, “Oh, you will still see it because they come to your website...”. You mentioned that you installed many apps, so we are not sure which app’s support team told you that, but it was not us. We also noticed that you left the exact same review for many other apps. This suggests this is a misunderstanding. In addition, no app has the ability to attract traffic on its own, so what you observed is very likely just a coincidence. We do have a solution that can fully resolve your situation. However, you did not try the solution we provided and just uninstalled our app. We are always happy to help. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at support@boostymark.com. We would be glad to look into your case and help you understand what happened, even if you are not currently using our app.
This app is well worth the investment and customer service is top notch.
This app has really helped decrease the unwanted traffic on my website and they have been super helpful with an issue I am having with bot traffic. Their customer service is amazing, responds quickly, and really took the time to explain and help me. I am so glad I found this app and highly recommend the service
Love everything about this product. . It blocks the customers from countries I don't sell in and even let me block by ISP/ASN, so I could stop Amazon from constantly crawling my site - I don't sell there and never will. I also love looking at the Shop Visitor Logs - they show great details on the way customers view my site - which pages and products they look at.
SO happy with this app, support has been prompt and super helpful
I contacted Shopify support many times since August, as the sessions from China to my store increased every day- by a ton! I've never had an order from China in the last 7 years, so it started to get really worrisome. Shopify couldn't give me any answer, nor did they make it stop. Supposedly they did tests, supposedly my case was escalated, but no change at all, it only got worse. I installed this App, and instantly the Chinese sessions came to a halt! Yay!!! I've only had it installed for 3 days, and already had 8437 page views and almost 400 VPN's blocked. My page speed increased again as well. Highly recommend!
We have had a Shopify store for many years, using several apps to enhance it. This app is, without doubt, the one we value the most. We, like other businesses, want to provide the best we can for our customers, and to do that, we need to be confident in our own systems. This App gives us the peace of mind we need to focus on what we do best, leaving the technical problem-solving and security of our site to the experts. We have no hesitation in recommending this App or the people behind it. Amy and the team answered our questions thoroughly, so we can understand the problem in simple terms. When a matter arose we were not confident in completing, Amy and the team took over and got us covered quickly. The service levels are second to none. Really! Every store owner should seriously consider this App. Not only does it do what it says, it delivers peace of mind, too. We are grateful we found this App, backed by a support that is second to none. In short, we trust the App, and the support team, who make us feel we matter to them. Thank you Amy and Team UPDATE: Since installing this App, it has proven highly effective. Since my last comments here, I have asked several questions of Amy and the team, and each received a prompt reply and an explanation of why the reply was structured as it was and the reasons behind it—this type of reply suits us well. We have learned so much from Amy and the team. I would highly recommend this App, which works exceptionally well, has excellent service levels, and, for us at least, offers a depth of reply that is invaluable. Thank you Amy and Team
After a year of "set it and forget it" (because it just works), I needed some help and support answered within a day with step by step instructions. Happy customer here.
I've been using this app for 2 months and it's been excellent for blocking unwanted traffic and reducing fraudulent activity. The geolocation redirection and shop visitor report features give me great insights into who's visiting my store. Setup was straightforward, and the customer support team (especially Amy) responds quickly whenever I have questions. Highly recommend for any merchant looking to improve site security and understand their visitor behavior better.
In addition to doing exactly what they promise to do (IP/country-level blocking), the BoostMark support team is exceptional. Real, personal, detailed help and explanations to assist us in working through our bot traffic challenges. Huge thanks -
sto provando questa app e offre funzioni che altre app chiedono a pagamento extra
BM: Country Blocker IP Blocker support is fantastic. Google had identified that my website might be compromised, and alerted my ad admin that my ads were being paused. I sent a note to Amy White in support and asked her if she could see what might be going on. She got back to me IMMEDIATELY (which I especially appreciated since emails from Google are extremely nerve-wracking) and reviewed my site. She said it was not hacked, but made a small tweak to my IP blocking settings that could have triggered concerns. We are requesting a review currently and hopefully all will be ok. Through this, Amy was knowledgeable, supportive and proactive. Highly recommend this app and their superlative support. Thank you, Amy!
Kürzlich installiert und sofort ein gutes Ergebnis mit den Blockierten Countries.
This app is great, literally just installed it and am already seeing suspect countries being blocked in the logs. In addition it has some really great features, like blocking dev tools, the console, right-clicks, etc... And there is an Admin mode so I can allow myself to debug while it blocks everyone else from those types of actions. So out of the gate, this gets a 5-star review for sure.
About a week using the app and so far it does what I need, plus a bunch of other features. Also great support from Amy that helped me solve some issues.
I've only been using this app for about a week and I love how much insight and control it gives you. I've asked a couple of questions to the team and got really good and in depth replies. I can see myself a long term customer especially with how cheap it is. I would rate this app a solid 5 start but I got to deduct one because of their tactic to influence reviews. On the app they have a 1 to 5 start review button, if you select 5 star it sends you to the Shopify app store page so you can fill an official review. On the other hand if you select less than 5 stars on the app they send you to their own contact form instead in an attempt to divert any non 5 star review away from the official app store. If you ask me that's a bit dishonest since its done to mislead potential customers by influencing reviews. I'm more than happy to change my review to 5 star if they change that practice.
Bot killers! Very helpful and responsive!
Best app and support I have ever used love using this
I have been using BM for a quite a while now and it has been great help, blocking certain countries to certain IPs, it also gives you real time visitors log which shopify misses.
Fantastic app to protect my webshop! This app is truly a must-have if you want to secure your store from unwanted visitors, bots, and fraud. It’s incredibly easy to set up, and the features are very comprehensive. I can block visitors by IP, country, city, ISP, or even by their email and phone number. The geolocation redirection works perfectly, and I also use the content protection to prevent copying of images and text. Support has been helpful and quick to respond to any questions I had. Overall, it’s a super powerful app that gives me peace of mind and protects my business effectively. I highly recommend it to any Shopify store owner!
Great customer service, quick and thorough responses. There are a lot more features to this app other than just the country blocker feature. I like to use the "shop visitor report". This feature helps me to know what products people are interested in and what aspects of the website are being used by visitors. Shopify Analytics is very limited and vague when it comes to visitor info, it mostly focuses on sales information. There are also content protection features which can be customized to protect your images from being saved or printed. It can even protect the writing on the site from being copied and pasted.
