Hyperspeed is honestly one of the best speed optimization apps I’ve used for my Shopify store. It was super easy to install and set up, and I didn’t need any coding knowledge to get started. After using it, my store feels much faster, pages load more smoothly, and the overall shopping experience has improved a lot. The image optimization, lazy loading, and performance improvements really made a difference. What I like most is that it does everything automatically without making things complicated. It helps improve my PageSpeed score while keeping my store running properly. For any Shopify store owner who wants a faster website and a better customer experience, I would definitely recommend giving Hyperspeed a try. It’s simple, effective, and saves a lot of time.
Original review in 2021: This app has significantly improved our website's load times. It might not show up when using tools that provide a 'score', but it is absolutely obvious when using our website as a visitor naturally would. I even notice the difference on a gigabit internet connection, so I can't imagine how much of an improvement it is for those on slower connections. The developers have been extremely helpful in a few small issues that came up - most of which were just our misunderstanding of specific features. update June 2026: Genuinely amazing. They always go above and beyond with migrating to new versions of our themes.
This is one of the best apps I’ve worked with, backed by truly outstanding support. I would recommend this team again and again. Today we had a major slow down on our site because something on the backend was misfiring. Within 30 minutes, they had us back up and running at full optimization. This app is 100% worth it.

Hyperspeed made a real difference to our store performance. They helped reduce blocking scripts, deferred analytics properly, and significantly improved our mobile Lighthouse scores — especially Total Blocking Time. Support was fast, knowledgeable, and proactive throughout the process. Highly recommended if you're serious about Shopify speed optimization.
This is a very good app for improving speed. Discernible improvement in page speed. I've tried a number of apps to increase page speed, and this one seems to be the best.

Thanks for the feedback! Comparing individual audits can be deceptive since site audits can be very variable. The same site can have very different audits with no changes. Taking an average over time gives a better picture of how speed has changed. Just let me know if you decide to give the app another try and I'd be happy to help!
This app made a difference to my store straight away!! It's easy to use, and the support from Ashim & Alex was brilliant. They answered my questions straight away, and jumped in to give me hand configuring the settings when needed. I highly recommend this app.
Support is great and the app has sped up my store a lot making it a better user experience for our customers.
Terrible app. They are charging my card even though I uninstalled it two months ago. I want my money credited back to my card. Thank you for reaching out and for correcting this situation. Although the app did not help with speed I feel the customer service was spot on.

Orlando is the guy! Really got our site firing quickly and immediately saw a HUGE increase in conversion rate. It really showed how sluggish our site was going. They are even great at further customizing to your store to get the extra out of it vs. their starting configuration. Their processing for image compression is also insane. The hardest compression they have you can't tell the difference and really brought down our KB per image. Overall 100% using on all of our e-comm stores.
We’ve been blown away by the fantastic support from the Hyperspeed Extreme team. Not only did their solution dramatically improve our page speed, but their support team went above and beyond to answer every question quickly and clearly. It’s rare to find a company that combines a great product with such responsive and knowledgeable support. Highly recommend to anyone looking to take their site performance to the next level!
I initally gave this a 1 star because it deserved one. Now I am giving it a 5 star and would say that it is comparable to Nitro Pak for Wordpress which is the best so they are the best but you have to contact them and have them do your website custom. It's free. If you do it yourself you will not receive the benefits this app has to offer and on shopify there are limited apps that truly improve your speed, this app does and they can also quickly remove the code although you will not want to once you see the effects. I highly recommend them however there should be a notice that says EMAIL US DIRECTLY so you can get a custom link that actually is awesome. Anyway im an american and this app is wonderful, so glad it exist, making shopify faster for SEO is difficult on shopify.

The app is amazing - it nearly doubled my store's speed by optimizing images and using an intelligent script delay system. The support team is also fantastic - they respond within minutes and always understand exactly what my store needs

They reply to every email immediately, at any hour, and with real solutions, not automated messages. 4. The price could be a bit more reasonable, but it's not a reason to lower the rating. The app works very well for us. We gained a lot of speed for our website. Customer support is very quick and very responsive. Compared to other apps it is a bit higher in price, but we have been looking for an app that addresses our website speed as a whole and not only compressing images. Hyperspeed does a great job Update October 2022: We are still very happy with this app. One thing I still want to point is the outstanding customer support that goes far beyond what your might expect. I cannot recommend this enough

Great app, but the support is incredible. We reached out thinking there was a conflict related to their code, which turned out to not be the case. Alex on their support team didn't just stop there though, he took the time to investigate the issue, and pin-pointed exactly what was causing it, even though it had nothing to do with their code. Super impressed!

The Hyperspeed support team is bar-none the best support I have ever dealt with. They know their product, they know shopify, they know customer service, they are patient and they get sh*t done. Call out to Orlando who spent the better part of a day helping me tracking down a script disabling our add to cart tracking while maintaining a blazing fast site speed score and loading time. You rock dude. Give that man a bonus. This thing no doubt has improved the conversion rate on our site and pays for itself.

I've been using Hyper Speed for about 55 days now, and while I initially faced some challenges, I’m happy to say that my issues have been resolved. The Pagespeed improvement is noticeable, and their team eventually responded to my support request and provided a satisfactory solution. Though there were some delays initially, the app has proven to be effective. If you’re considering it, give their support team a chance—they do come through!

We tried a ton of other apps (Booster, TinyIMG) and we only got incremental improvements in our site speed. But when I tried Hyperspeed, I got a HUGE boost in site speed. The support team was SUPER responsive and made sure my site loaded extremely fast! I'm incredibly satisfied with the service and I always recommend Hyperspeed when anyone has trouble with site speed on Shopify.

This is app is a rocket. I tried several things, even fiverr. With ok results but this app is awesome, for us its a game changer and i totally recommend it. maybe it feels a little bit too expensive but the result is really good.

5-star service, the app works! we can see a big improvmed in our shopify store speed, customer support is very fast solving any issues too 5 star Review update I used the app for more than 2 years, today I decided to uninstall it to see how my store would perform without the hyper speed. I was worried that it would be very bad, actually after uninstalling the app, my lighthouse improved by 30 points, I am sorry guys, but this is disappointing 1 star here

Thank you for your feedback. I'm sorry to hear about your experience! To clarify, it can be a bit tricky to compare individual audits as each PageSpeed audit can have a lot of variance. plug and play - the team are sooooo soo helpful and pretty much did everything for me. we have a lot of custom code that was previously failing to load but all such issues have now gone and page load speed has increased significantly. Special thanks to Alex for his support with the set up.

I came to them with a problem with the Cumulative Layout Shift and left them with a problem with the speed optimization. My website speed is now 50 on mobile and 58 on desktop. When I came to them my website speed was 94 on mobile and 99 on desktop. I was lucky that I made a duplicate theme. I do not recommend this company to anyone !!!

Sorry for the confusion! To clarify, the PageSpeed score was so high because someone had added code to trick PageSpeed into reporting that the site is faster than it is. The code was deliberately hidden so it's hard to find, but it checks if PageSpeed is looking at the store and won't load some of the website if it is. Unfortunately, fooling PageSpeed like this doesn't help with SEO or conversions. Only actual load times matter for search rankings and sales. This code makes the site slower as it uses outdated JavaScript that blocks the page load. This technique is called cloaking and can result in penalties from Google. Shopify also warns against these practices in their article here - https://performance.shopify.com/blogs/blog/don-t-get-scammed-by-fake-performance-experts-and-apps We cleaned up this deceptive code from the theme in order to actually speed up the store and to ensure Google does not penalize it. While this meant that the PageSpeed audit scores dropped, this is because the real speed was being shown, and not the fake score. Please let us know if you decide to reinstall the app and we'd be happy to optimize it again!
It really made this investment worthwhile. We are very pleased with the plugin and the manual work by a great customer service agent. Our Score is now better than ever and I can strongly recommend this. Very, very impressed. I checked with webcoders, they would charge at approx 3000 USD to solve our problems. I'm happy to say that this plugin solved it for us, without the need of expensive consultants. Faisal that helped us with the last bit's really nailed it. World Class!
This is one of those apps that I wouldn't run a shopify store without. Alex is always available to help ensure you've configured the settings correctly. Using Hyperspeed has resulted in increased conversions, faster load speed, and better search rankings. If you're hesitant, I'd try it for the trial period and watch your load speeds and conversions increase over the week.
Our company has only been using Hyperspeed for about a month; through this app, we have been able to correct errors on our site in less than 24 hours. The customer service is fast, reliable, and extremely helpful. Orlando not only adjusted aspects of our site to optimize it properly after updates but also helped to increase our site speed and offered solutions to maintain it. Our team would highly recommend this company.
Our site had a noticeably faster loading speed after installing the app. Although it caused some issues at the beginning but the support team was really fast and helpful to solve all the issues very promptly.
Took my site from a 49 to a 70 on the Shopify score! Images still look great, site is fast! Had to do some custom CSS coding and completed it quickly. I will happily keep this app.
Okay. So, was suuuper skeptical as I have tried other similar apps and services with no measurable results. Installed the app, followed their additional recommendations in the help section of the app, reached out to support for a couple tweaks which were taken care of immediately. Speed score in Shopify has gone from 29 to 71.

I installed this app a few days ago because my store speed was at a horrible 29. After installing this app more score speed jumped up to 33. I reached out to the Hyperspeed app support to see what else could be done and they responded immediately with additional changes and recommendations for me. Because of their fast and very helpful support, my speed score went from 29 three days ago to 44 as of today. What a great improvement. On top of this, I really like the fact that the app makes a preview of your theme to review and ensure everything is working correctly before you actually make any permanent changes. I am hoping that I can continue to work with their support to keep increasing my store speed but I am extremely happy with the app and customer support so far.
I was on the fence about this app for a minute. After the first theme changes were published, some of the images on my collections pages disappeared and our PageSpeed barely moved at all. But after reaching out to a lot of my concerns. We figured out that since my theme already had LazyLoad, implemented it twice was causing the image glitch. We turned it off in the app and that brought our images back. Orlando did some more digging around a found a few ways to increase our PageSpeed score (currently at 44 up from 22). We're still working on it, but I'm much more comfortable keeping the app in place knowing I have competent tech team behind the curtain.

I have had an amazing experience with Hyperspeed so far. The app is smart, powerful, and capable of doing things that a lot of other similar apps cannot do. I particularly like how 'safe' the app is. You always have the ability to roll back the optimisations, and there are warning messages all over the place to make sure you don't do anything stupid. Customer support has been superb so far, too.

Very well built, and VERY well supported. I was impressed when first installing it, and this app made a significant difference in load times, and subsequently the google results. 12/10 would install again. In my two years working with Shopify, this is one of the few apps of any type that I've found that were not complete garbage. I've learned to doubt that apps can actually do what they say, but this app reset my expectations–YES, it IS possible to build quality software in the shopify ecosystem. (Eor context, I've been building websites for 28 years.)
