Such a great experience working with this group. Customer service (Oli) was absolutely sensational and always ready to help. Calmed my nerves when I wasnt sure what I was doing, seamless and just such a fantastic addition to our store. Easy to use (even for a 61 year old) No complaints here at all. Best app service ever. I can't imagine a more comprehensive, feature-filled pre-ordering application than PreProduct. There's a lot of edge cases and varying requirements and scenarios entailed in a pre-order campaign, and the PreProduct team seems to have anticipated pretty much all of them. The app works great and can do absolutely everything you need. When I haven't been able to figure something out, Oli always responds within the day, often within an hour or two, to ensure everything is working smoothly. We are using PreProduct for thousands of high value pre-orders - if you want a system you can trust with a similarly important campaign, I can't recommend it enough.
Great app, great support. Highly configurable and we can control the preorder variants and lead times through the included API. We came to PreProduct after trialling several other preorder apps which didn't work with our theme, or had no API, or had an extortionate commission % on orders, or a poor support response. This one does everything we need at a sensible price and comes with prompt and helpful UK-based support. Oli helped us fix a couple of issues while we were preparing for launch. For context we're a Shopify Plus site using the Scale plan on the app, but it looks like it'd work well for larger or smaller sites too.

The app dev team is extremely responsive and very helpful! We are a fast-growing company in the health and wellness space, and so we sell out or take preorders quite often. We also have some nuances to our website that have required tweaks to the app. We always land on some version of the app's settings that help move our business forward.
We work in a very niche market and Oli and PreProduct have been so amazing helping us get set up and customizing our store. I thought taking pre-orders would be a nightmare, but with PreProduct, it's been incredibly easy. Thank you guys for making this a seamless experience! In my experience using apps in Shopify, rarely does the app completely fit your needs. You may be using other apps that collide with the app or your business model may be unconventional leaving you with an app that doesn’t really work the way you hoped. This can be very frustrating. This was my situation but I reached to Oli to explain my challenges and he quickly helped solve my issues by slightly adjusting things. Granted, I just started using the app which will provide great value to my customers and I will most likely bump up against other challenges as I discover how to tap the full power of the app but.. knowing that there are actual people who respond quickly and just get stuff done gives me a much welcomed peace of mind. Few things in e-commerce are perfect but it’s how you overcome the obstacles that count in my book. So far, my experience has been extremely positive. Bravo!

Even in the short time we've used it, there have been several new features released, so I know it's only going to get more robust. We’ve used countless Shopify apps over the years, and PreProduct is hands down the best value we’ve ever received. I had been looking for an app to launch a new product, allowing me to get cash up front to pay for the production as much as possible. This one fit the bill perfectly, the UI is clean and easy and it does the job. Any tweaks I had, were answered fast and resolved by Oli to allow minimum disruption. Highly recommended this app for new launches. Would be even better if you could do offers on the pre orders and or choose different variants for more than 1 selection.
This app has enabled us to integrate Shopify preorders with our legacy ERP. The ability to defer charging customers for preordered items until we are ready to ship is an amazing feature. We also love the feature that allows customers to manage their order's preorders themselves. Another great feature of this app is the ability to prevent preorder items from being mixed into carts with non-preorder items. Lastly, the best part of PreProduct is their amazing support!!

This app provides the necessary mechanisms to setup your store in a way that mimics crowdfunding platforms which allow pre-orders to be received and charged at a later date. The help requests are always adhered to very quickly. Oli is great to work with and will look after you with any of your concerns. Whilst I'm yet to launch officially and see it work, so far the setup and service has been great.
We love this app and it has been amazing for us. We've had no major issues and things run smoothly. When we had a small problem, Oli was super quick to get to us and helped us resolve the problem quickly. Highly recommend using this app if your shop does pre-orders.

We needed some customisation done for our website. Oli was very generous in creating a bespoke solution to our problems.
We had some unusual and very specific needs which the app did not support. However, the support team was committed to helping us come up with a solution and invested many hours in support. The support team helped us develop a creative solution and we are successfully using the PreProduct to collect deposits for wholesale orders.
I believe this is the best app to correct downpayment, and what I love most about this app is the customer support.

This app worked very well for two new product introductions by my company. The support I needed was quickly provided via email.
Excellent app, which allowed us to charge customers a small part of the total amount immediately as part of a pre-launch and to charge the remaining amount in the future on a day defined in the app. Questions about the setting options were answered quickly, professionally and extremely politely. I am very satisfied with this app and the development team behind it. We will be implementing many more pre-launches with the help of this app.
PreProduct and their team have been our go-to Pre-Order app for a while now and it is very easy to use! It's straightforward with plenty of customization. Their customer service team is very prompt at replying to inquiries and the few times we've needed a hand, they've always come through with solutions to our questions. Great support, great app!

Really easy to use and we crowdfunded our product successfully with PreProduct! So much cheaper than Kickstarter too. Whenever I encountered technical problems, the customer service was fantastic and was able to assist in any troubleshooting. Communication via email was easy.
This app is perfect for what my business needed. It was hard to find an app that would allow me to defer capturing payments until a specified time. The support team is also great. I'll be using PreProduct for all of my future product pre-orders.
Their service is great!! I was having problems with the app (no one else was in our organization) and contacted their service team. Got a response very quickly, went back and forth trying different option with no luck. Finally, we determined that Chrome needed to be updated on my computer. Was never a problem with the app and they helped me solve it in a very short time!! Kudos to the PreProduct support team!!!
Pre-product went above and beyond to help integrate this app with another essential app on my store, their customer service was excellent- not only spent hours integrating the new app, but also kept me in the loop and contacted me regularly. Additionally the app is brilliant, is exactly what my business needs and gives the ability to keep customers informed without hassle.
This plugin was exactly whet we needed for our pre orders. The one issue was it didn't interact with our engraving plugin. With just a few emails they were able to add the needed variables to pas the information to our order page. Very happy with the interaction and the product.

this is a fantastic app to take pre-orders. I was overally impressed by their support team. We recently added PreProduct to our store so that we can start accepting deposits for items we are awaiting stock on. The app was easy to install. The communication and support is fantastic. We needed some small changes to the way the product buttons looked on the site and Oli was able to make these changes for us. Would recommend this app if you are looking to accept preorders and deposits for your site.
Fabulous app and team. It did all we required of a Pre-Order app and the customer support was superb down to a few small customizations needed for our site. Unfortunately our supplier timeframes were not reliable so we've had to uninstall but when they are on-time we will certainly consider bringing it back.
Run, don't walk and install PreProduct! We've been a very long time looking for the perfect pre order system and can happily report we've found it! The deferred payment options and flexibility are absolute game changers, and better yet - the support and service from Oli and his team is second to none. Could not recommend this solution more highly, 6 stars!

This is the only app we could find that allows me to pre-order and pay by credit card after the item arrives. The support in English was very helpful. We were able to get many orders thanks to the help of the app and the staff here.
This app was great for launching our new rum product. It did take us a little while to figure it out, but that is most likely due to us not being incredibly website savvy. We had an issue on the day we launched our pre-orders and PreProduct was able to assist us within hours and fixed the issue (which turns out because we had selected a wrong button). This app gave us the ability to nab sales and revenue before our product was ready to be shipped out and has created a successful launch. Would recommend.

I used this app to run a pre-order campaign prior to committing to manufacturing a product. It worked perfectly. Having the flexibility to take a deposit, full payment or simply track pre-orders was great. The auto-emailing also worked flawlessly. Also got very responsive help from the developer (same day) when I had questions. Recommended.

This app worked perfecrtly to launch a new product of mine and create a hype, take deposits and easily seek the emaingin payments. Easy to set up and the customer service was awesome... In our line of business, many of the products we sell can take around a year to arrive in stock so pre-orders are an important way to clinch those extra sales. But finding the best way to do this has been fraught with problems - that is until we found PreProduct, a fantastic app that has enabled us to easily accept pre-orders whilst remaining compliant with the legislation regarding pre-payments in the UK and also Shopify's rules. Getting up and running was relatively straightforward and the friendly assistance that I received from Oli in making a few changes to tweak how it works for us was amazing Whatever we needed was sorted quickly and correctly the first time. My only concern before installing this app and it may be yours is the monthly cost. However, even within the free trial period, we had taken enough pre-orders to easily cover a month's subscription. As the saying goes 'you have to spend money to make money'. Brilliant app and brilliant service.
I've been having such great success using this app that I decided to install it for a second business I have. It's such a useful tool to quantify product demand and set customer expectations, especially during this current era of supply chain shortages and logistics uncertainties. By having moneyless pre-orders I can make long-term forecasts for demand and place orders with my vendors accordingly. If customers decide to cancel their pre-order I don't have to eat the loss of merchant fees like I would with other pre-order apps. I've made number of feature requests and the developer, Oli, has been super responsive and receptive. He always responds to my emails very promptly (usually within a day) and has gone out of his way to help me get my store up and running with some style tweaks. That level of service is why it was a no-brainer for me to install the app for store #2. If you are looking for a flexible way to take pre-orders with deposits or no money up front, then look no further then this very clever app!
We were in search of an app that allows us to accept pre-orders without taking any payments and PreProduct ticked the right boxes. The app is pretty straightforward to use from set-up. One feature I think would be helpful to have is to have an automated way to list the product but other than that, this app is excellent. I installed this app recently to help my store take pre-orders without collecting money. The integrated communications functionality is perfect for letting me send out payment links in batches of 10-20 customers at a time, as my inventory allows. Setup was straightforward and intuitive, and so far I’m very happy with the performance of the app. The best part of my experience has been my interactions with Oli, the developer. When his emails to me were bouncing due to a server issue on my side, he went out of his way to contact me from another email account. Oli has been incredibly responsive in answering my questions, and implementing some minor tweaks on my site to customize the look of the buttons. He was also very receptive to feedback I provided and seems highly committed to improving his app. This is one of the best customer service experiences I’ve had with an app developer over the last 8 years of having a Shopify store. Amazing app! It is really the best "pre-order now, pay at shipment" Shopify app for businesses that deal with pre-orders. The dev team is constantly adding new features to improve the customer experience, and our company has seen huge growth by allowing pay-later pre-orders. The dev team is also super nice and great to work with on any issues and questions.
This app is was exactly what I needed and the customer service is second to none. We pre-sold many of our winter jackets because of this tool.

I used PreProduct for approximately six months whilst waiting for my plant pots to be made and shipped from overseas. I was specifically looking for an app that would allow me to accept pre-orders without charging customers as I didn't think anyone would want to give money to a brand new business and then wait weeks or months to receive their items. I also didn't want to have to take people's payment info in case this put them off pre-ordering, and also because I read that a payment can only be held as authorised for a short period of time. PreProduct was the only app I could find that offered exactly what I wanted! Customer service from Oli has been amazing throughout - he has always been so quick to respond and any issues/queries/suggestions I had were quickly and efficiently resolved. The app is incredibly easy to use and I couldn't recommend it highly enough.

PreProduct is the greatest Shopify add-on if you need to have the ability to pre-book items without having to charge customers until the product actually ships. It gives you the possibility to determine demand before committing to production and/or financing. This is a fantastic feature for many small businesses and the product support is even more fantastic. Highly recommended!
