Was looking forward to using this app to apply automatic discounts and have the discounts displayed on the product and collection pages but you need to do a ton of coding in order for that to happen and they offer this service for free but it takes 5 days or more and they dont teach you how to do it yourself. Nobody has 5 days to wait, other then that the app is decent.

The app works perfectly. The support team is amazing — they help with everything, even if, like me, you don’t understand anything about coding. Highly recommend.

Unfortunate to have to review this now after being a customer for awhile but they've impacted our business again and support is dropping the ball. Support is often slow when we actually need them, and any theme-updates BREAKS their app. There is a "3-Day" required rule for them to help get their app up in this situation and we lost significant revenue because of it. Also note, this "estimate" does NOT include weekends...so could be 5-Days (we're on Day 2 of needing help and told to wait till Monday...that's a best-case "4 days" for resolution...but by their rules could be Tuesday, or 5-days...). They want your "developers" to do it or pay them extra when the app glitches (and does often especially during peak shopping like BF). This latest incident has us shopping for alternatives with a simple installer and better support.

Easily the most fully featured discount engine there is. I haven't been able to find anything that can even match its functionality. Drawbacks are that it can't be used along with certain built-in Shopify discount types and certain apps, but the app itself technically invalidates the need for those. Support is really solid, too.

Discount Ninja has been above and beyond for supporting our promotional needs across multiple stores and regions. The promo tools are intuitive and incredibly useful with so many options to choose from it covers all of our bases and has introduced new optionality for us. We couldn't be pleased enough with the customer support we receive as well. The crew over there is always enhancing the platform and looking to make it better. They're also very responsive and reactive. We couldn't be happier with our decision to support our promo functionality. Big ups to the DN crew!

Overall, this is nice app with a lot of functionality. There's a little more to the initial setup than I thought, and a small learning curve once you get in there, but not too bad. Support has been good about getting back to me pretty quickly. I wish they had a bundled item feature, but they say it's coming. Also, the free shipping for spending $X option didn't work properly when I excluded certain hazmat products from applying. Their support team was going to look into that, and I have yet to hear anything. That was probably 2 weeks ago now.

We really wanted to use to use this app. It is unfortunately very difficult to use with very limited support. This impacts most of your core shopify files so if you decide to do this you really can't just go back.

Discount Ninja has been very helpful for us in making promotions EASY for our customers. Shopify has a lot of limitations around discounts and promotions (i.e. automatically adding promo items to a cart, etc.). DN's support team has also been extremely helpful. Highly recommended!

able to do most of the promotion we run in store & see the promotion results. However when we want to promotion such as 2 for $12 it'll be difficult as the 3rd item on the cart won't be its original price but $6. Overall would recomend as this app has helped us with plenty of promotions we want to run.

We've been using Discount Ninja for 2+ years and have only positive things to say about the app and about their tech support. We've not had a single issue but when we have questions, the techs at Discount Ninja are quick to reply and help out. Their communication is clear and helpful and they are constantly making improvements to what their app offers.

This app is exactly what we needed for stacking discounts and can handle multiple discounts at once. Is easy and intuitive to use. Once set up and scheduled works seamlessly in the background. The interface is a little glitchy at times but overall works well and I'd recommend. Support is responsive and any issues are resolved quickly.

Full featured for our needs with the ability to do extremely specific as well as general sales. The Swiss-Army-Knife of apps. When needed, technical support is expedient and on target. Used continuously for the past 2 years and no plans to change.

Lots of promotions types and flexibility to create the promos at product level and cart level. Our team was experiencing slowness issues with the app with large number of promotions, we contacted the support and the leadership team were quick to jump on this and fix the issue very quickly. Speed has improved significantly and we appreciate the support from them.

Been using Discount Ninja for almost 3 years now and really helps setup multi level discounts when you're wanting automatic discounts like 'add 4 items to your bag to get xx discount'. Shopify should offer this as standard but that's just Shopify for you. Tried other discount apps in the past but Discount Ninja is the one that I've found works the best. Super fast customer support too even out of hours. Recently spoke with Manuel who helped solve quite a large issue with the website in less than 15 minutes. Would recommend.

Customer service is the worst. They send me text with childish content that doesn't seem like a businessman. There is a high possibility that some problems will occur when installing the app. Therefore, customer service is very important. This app is not recommended. If you encounter any problems and some errors occur, there is a high possibility that you will regret implementing the app.

5 STAR TEAM! Customer services is fast and amazing. Apps is easy to manage.

Been with this app for over a year now. There is good and bad. First the pros: 1) This app is several apps rolled into one. 2) Lots of promos to choose from. 2) Affordable. 3) Customizable. 4) Help desk is around for basic issues. 5) Help desk will get back to you timely, even when they are "not online", again for basic issues. Now the Bad: 1) Not user friendly to install. You will need help and they will charge you for it. Our theme just updated causing me to loose my "Dynamic Pricing" features and I have spent 2 hours trying to reinstall it myself, but can not get it work properly. Help desk that handles this is only available M-F to do this, so no matter what I have to wait and will have to pay to have this done every time I have a new theme update come through. 2) Next, some of the promos do not work the way you think they do. Their verbiage can be very confusing and misleading. Limits do not work correctly based on how they have explained it. Caused us to loose out on more sales. 3) On the busiest day of the year, on BF, they had a coding error in one of their promo features, which caused it to malfunction and freeze our site. Took them all day to fix it. I get it, stuff happens, but should not be happening on the busiest day of the year. 4) Unless you are in front of your computer when you need to do an update or change a promo on the fly, you are out of luck. This app is not compatible with a tablet or a mobile device. If you are tech savvy , know coding and can decode what it is they are trying to say in all their parameters, then this is a good app to be on. But, if you are a newbie and need something simple and easy to just get the job done, I do not recommend. I fall in the middle of the two and I am just really frustrated with all that has gone wrong in the past several days with this app.

Discount Ninja has been AMAZING!!! We have searched for an app that has a feature that does not reset the sale prices when a 3rd party updates my Shopify prices from my POS system, and Ninja has this feature! This allows us to run sales independently on our website. The app has other great features that have saved us time and work. The customer service is very responsive and helpful!

The best App for simple and complex promotions with the best support ever

Just like a similar review put it, we really wanted to love this app but we just couldn't get this app to function properly. I'm envious of the stores that were able to use Discount Ninja with no problems. We tried for 3 months but it just wasn't worth it. Our biggest issue was trying to get Discount Ninja to work with our cart (Rebuy) as well as Shopify Scripts we had live for shipping. It took about a month or more to get a lot of the issues ironed out. When Discount Ninja was live on our site, we constantly had issues with discounts not showing in the cart, prices reflecting incorrectly, the subtotal in our cart would render 25 more subtotals on the cart, free gifts showing on multiple products when it should only be one, the app editing prices on our orders after it was placed, our console was riddled with 50+ errors all coming from Discount Ninja, not to mention it slowed our cart down to where it was embarrassingly slow. At first Customer Service were all extremely helpful and willing to help resolve these issues, but towards the end it felt like the simply got annoyed with us reaching out and a lot of the times we would be told "We can't reproduce this issue" or "this is an issue with Rebuy." I talked with Rebuy and I'm 100% confident its not on their end. I am the web developer for our store and I could see that each issue we ran into was with Discount Ninja. We missed out on tons of money during sales, with promotions not working properly, free gifts and add ons not showing the correct discounted price, by customers abandoning their cart due to prices being incorrect or cart being too slow, etc. Not to mention the manpower that was put into this app daily, trying to get it work while also paying for it monthly. They did refund us, so for that I thank Discount Ninja and its honestly the only reason why I'm not giving it 1 star. Since cancelling Discount Ninja, we switched back to Shopify Scripts and still continue to use Rebuy for our cart and we have had ZERO issues and our site score has gone up 10 points. I would love for Discount Ninja to resolve these issues on their end, work a little better with apps like Rebuy, not cause our site or cart to slow down as much it did, and ultimately to be 100% working with no bugs.

All I can say is GREAT customer support. The app is very robust, so there are many different ways that it can be configured. It's a bit of a learning curve, but once you get it...it's NICE!!! But we were able to things moving within a couple of days after the support team did everything to make sure the app was configured correctly. They even recommended a 3rd party filter app which is compatible with the dynamic pricing.

I have been using this app for quite some time. It takes some time to learn but has a lot of options and configurations. Support is excellent, and they address all of my issues promptly.

Discount Ninja is game changing. Stacking codes. Discount summary display. Cross-sells and Upsells at add-to-cart (classic would you like fries with that) BOGO offers-- with advanced logic... You may think, "Shopify already offers this..." Not even close. MERCHANDISING is crucial to customer UX. Just having an offer is not going to help sell anything. You have to communicate it. And let your customer know every step of the way about the offers. As a merchant who was instrumental in the development of more than a few "best of breed" discount apps and modules, Discount Ninja is clearly the winner. PS - If you insist on poking around my site -- please know I am also using a best-in-class popup app to help with add-to-cart upsells... IN ADDITION to DN. [update 2+ years later] I don't have much to add besides "Discount Ninja for the Win!" I am now using Rebuy WITH DN for crazy powerful promos, and most importantly, customer UX. The DN developer continues to improve the product -- OS2 compatible now. Can I give an app 100 stars?

This app allows us to do more types of promo combinations than any other app out there. Fast customer service and awesome lead developer help with any issues that come up. All apps have some issues, even the big ones but Discount Ninja is the best we've found.

Apps is great doing 90% what we wanted to do. But get trick / annoyed, It doesn't support Shopify POS, but when you search on shopify app store, when I check only support POS it show up as an ad.............. It's very confusing.

UPDATE: Having spoke to the owner of discount ninja, Bart worked on resolving our issue instantly and has provided great support. The app is now reinstalled and working perfectly and as a goodwill Bart increased our quota. The app in itself is great and offers discount schemes and strategies that no other app offers. However thats where it stops, support take a while to reply and don't fix issues. This app was causing bother all over our site. They then wanted us to upgrade as we had reached our quota to look into the issue more.

I just installed the app today and set up some propmotions. the app integrates beautifully and the support team is quick and effective to help with onboarding. live chat is available for quick answers to questions. A+

Never using DN again! Had a promotion set up with their dynamic pricing feature (which we paid more for) for a 2 hour flash sale on our website (50% off). 10 minutes into the promotion running with thousands of customers on our website the app malfunctioned, hundreds of our customers were charged full price and we lost thousands in sales. The issue was unable to be resolved as the sale was only running for the 2 hour period.

The app looks super interesting and has a lot of features. We installed it hoping it would help with our conversion rate but it has only caused us trouble. After asking for the support to install the Dynamic Pricing on our theme, we had a bug in our store where after adding a product to the cart, the load button keeps spinning, and also the cart is not being displayed correctly, no product is being shown. They installed the code for Dynamic Pricing and immediately reported this bug and said that it was coming from another app that was installed in our store but we had never used, and never caused trouble. The bug was not happening before the changes did by Discount Ninja, so I asked them to undo the code they had done, they said that I could just install a backup version of the theme and the changes would be undone. I did this and uninstalled both "Discount Ninja" and the other app, but the bug persists. We also talked to the support of the other app (the one they said was causing the bug) and they said: "We have checked this over carefully and can confirm this isn't related to our app. Our app won't edit theme code (specifically to avoid problems like this) - everything is contained in a javascript tag, and when you remove the app you remove the tag. I've checked your site and the tag is no longer there. ​ I hate to point to another developer - but if Discount Ninja have been editing your theme, then it's highly likely the issue is related to them - and I'm pretty certain they will edit your cart too." The theme support is obviously not able to help us because the theme has been changed already. Now I'll have to pay for a developer to solve this issue. Very disappointed. Don't recommend it.

The app has the best features when it comes to setting up promos, dynamic pricing, exclusive discounts, etc. We have a complex BOGO offer and this is the only app we're able to use for it. The support is great and is always responsive. There was a minor issue with the recent update but it was resolved right away. Overall, we're quite satisfied for more than a year now.

Discount Ninja is a robust platform that allows us a number of different styles of discounts and keep them organized so they "play well" with one another. The control we have on how the promotions display on our website is also very impressive. There is a learning curve to this App so make sure you have someone willing to dedicate the time and energy to figure it out. If you do, Discount Ninja's support team has proven to be responsive and helpful. We have had some issues after updates in the past but it is usually resolved quickly. Good discounting app.

We make extensive use of this app on our site and the flexibility it offers ito promotions is second to none. We've had to call on support a (very) few times and the issues were resolved promptly. Highly recommended.

When it works, it's fine. The problem is that when it breaks, it BREAKS. Support is polite but completely useless. My discounting system has been down for over a week due to a bad update on their part and after THREE "oh, it's fixed now!" messages from support, it's STILL broken. My company has taken a hard hit to reputation for "fraudulent advertising" and we're having to refund hundreds of dollars manually because Limoni Apps support doesn't appear to be able to maintain their own app. Most disappointing app support I've seen to date.

Something to keep in mind, the free offer isn't 14 days - it's 7 days. I'm still going to try it, but I was hoping for the full 2 weeks to get the feel for it.

This is by far the best offer app I have found on Shopify. So many great features, my favourite being dynamic pricing which a lot of other apps lack. Their support is great, and they are always looking to update things so that they are compatible with shopify updates.

The app did not end up being a good fit for us, but the customer service was great and was able to find a custom solution to each of our problems.
