We have been using LimeSpot for several years across multiple stores and have been very happy with the impact on our conversion rates and revenue. We recently migrated our stores from BigCommerce to Shopify, and the LimeSpot team did an excellent job transferring our personalization history and store data with minimal disruption. The support team has always been responsive and helpful. Highly recommended!
IT IS A SCAM!!! ALL ABOVE THEIR RESPONSE IS A LIE! - NEVER received any emails from this company - refund offered of $25 when charge $455 - no sales generated using their features - online sales revenue nothing to do with their charges and app features. -invoices does not have any basic payments breackdowns. They overcharge and their invoice charges does not have any breakdown with associated orders. Customer service are not responding clear to basic questions. They charge us more then $500 a month without explanation + overcharge for monthly subscription. We had to dispute all unauthorized charges by this scam app. More your store make monthly sales, they will charge you more. Any order was not completed using their app tracking. There are same apps that charge $4.99 monthly flat fee for the same features.

We’re sorry for the confusion. LimeSpot has been serving your store on a grandfathered Pay as You Grow plan for years, which is based on the LimeSpot-driven revenues. The LimeSpot analytics dashboard shows $20,396 driven revenue since January 2026, which maps to ~$500 charges (2.5% * $20k). LimeSpot dashboard also shows the granular order information for the driven revenue. You downgraded your plan mid June 2026, to Turbo, which does not include the full analytics features, therefore you were not able to see the order numbers after switching. Our team offered you a generous refund for the last billing period as a sign of goodwill, and also provided you with snapshots from the analytics, but unfortunately our emails were never viewed from your side and we did not receive your response. As a long-time customer, we appreciate your business and want to make sure this is resolved properly. Please check your mailbox for the emails that were sent to you on June 26-27 and reply accordingly. We look forward to working with you to make this right.
thoroughly unimpressed with the ease of use of this app, the poor customers service and exorbitent pricing. i have no idea how they take credit for their sales. they seem to take credit for selling things which have nothing to do with them but claim it as their app did the work. new themes have the fundamentals built in.
Working with Limespot for a couple months now. I like that there are always room for us to do some customization. Very good support team. Shout out to Rodolfo!

WORST APP EVER. Almost criminal how bad it is. The product is terrible, super long load times. We asked for custom work which was included in the plan. The customer service and response time was terrible. I wrote a negative review to get customer service to respond. The company responded and refused to do the custom work until I removed my 1 star review at the request of the CEO. I removed my review and they did the work but the load times were still garbage. We never really got the app live and they charged us $10,000 for one month. BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE. This company manipulates reviews and is terrible. I've never been more excited to uninstall an app. BYEEEE

Let’s address some inaccuracies: - Your claim of “super long load times” doesn’t align with our sub-100ms response times in your target market (US), which we shared with your developer via email while we were troubleshooting their individual workstation issue. - Your claim that custom work was included is inaccurate — You signed up on a self-serve plan and did not provide us with your requirement when we asked. You only shared your actual request after leaving us a preemptive 1* review. - Your claim the app “never went live” overlooks the few weeks it was live on your website driving over $30k in additional revenue (stats available). - Your claim we charged $10k is materially false; no such charge happened. You admitted using a negative review “to get customer service to respond” — a tactic to pressure us. We supported you regardless. Our goal is to provide value, not play review games. We wish you the best.

Amazing customer experience. Really helped us with applying changes and also the ML algorithm on the product recommendations is really good.
We have a vintage theme, so set up took a while for us as it wasn't straightforward but Will was very good at communicating & getting things sorted out. He helped make all the necessary changes to get it styled nicely- it looks great on our website and fits in really well. Looking forward to getting some good results in the next few weeks - the app has comprehensive analytics for measuring. Highly recommend

The application fulfills its task and works correctly. Something that surprised me very pleasantly was the customer service - the highest level! Will from the support team with whom I had the opportunity to correspond was very helpful and friendly. He personalized the appearance of the application blocks for me exactly as I expected. BE VERY CAREFUL. This app is a scam. It's three times more expensive than Shopify's own plan, they don't provide a proportional increase to the charges they apply, they don't warn about extra charges, and the customer service is either terrible or non-existent. Ultimately, the worst decision I made with an app is downloading this.

It is worth noting for other merchants reading this review that during the period referenced, LimeSpot accounted for more than 25% of this store's total revenue.
LimeSpot has been a key contributor to the layout of our website the past 2 years. Customer service has always been outstanding! The user-friendly self service tools to find answers quickly are a bonus.
I am a small business and wanted to improve my sales, so I opted to use LimeSpot. I had a few things I didn’t quite understand when I was setting LimeSpot up for my store. Reymond was there to help me with all my issues and now I have it successfully installed and working. I am very happy with the great support I have received.

I was a little worried about pricing when we first started using Limespot a few years ago, but I thought I would give it a try and cancel if it didn't help. Instantly our sales increased dramatically! Limespot did an A/B testing on our site to figure out what worked the best and we are still killing it! I have had a few questions along the way using the chat link and Limespot has gotten back to me within minutes every time, even late at night when they are off work. We are very happy and will continue using Limespot, and hopefully keep killing it!! Thanks Gillian for your help tonight! Very responsive, sweet and helpful!

Terrible, messed up our cart page. Adjustments to cart items with the plus and minus button now duplicates the product inside the cart, removing the product also duplicates it again. They should be removed from the app store list for this terrible code corruption, so rookie. PLEASE FIX NOW!

We apologize for any confusion. LimeSpot is a recommendation and merchandising tool. While our recommendation boxes appear in your Shopify store’s public-facing interface when you publish them, out-of-the-box, we do not alter the behavior of your cart or other basic website functionality. Given that you had LimeSpot installed for about 7 minutes, there was no time for your team to make any custom modifications that could have caused this issue. LimeSpot did not cause the glitch with your cart plus/minus buttons. However, we would like to help you to use LimeSpot. We have contacted you privately to offer assistance and help to optimize your LimeSpot recommendation boxes. We hope we can move past this confusion, collaborating closely with you to enhance the growth of your brand.
Uninstalling the app now. The pricing is a total scam when you scale. Many cheaper and better alternatives available if you do a little research.

Going by your feedback, it sounds like you're looking for more clarity on how LimeSpot tracks sales. We use the same click-based attribution method that big names like Klaviyo and Google use. And to keep things fair, we don't count purchases made over a week after someone clicks on a LimeSpot feature. It looks like you were taking advantage of our Essentials pricing plan, which allows you to pay monthly based on your brand’s revenue and not LimeSpot’s assisted revenue. This is our most basic plan that offers the most predictability, but if you prefer being charged only for the revenue attributable to LimeSpot, we recommend you try our Pay-As-You-Grow plan. Checking your stores, it’s worth noting that you experienced an average of 58x ROI, which is an excellent performance. LimeSpot’s algorithm is unique and provides best-in-class personalization and merchandising experience. Our algorithm examines the products in your catalog, creating a structure based on their attributes. It also checks your order history and monitors the behavior of visitors on your site. This provides us a full picture: we can predict which products certain customers might buy and which customers are inclined towards certain products. By watching how customers interact on the site, we can gauge their intentions, helping us present the perfect product to the ideal customer precisely when they're most likely to purchase. While other solutions may be less expensive, they may lead to less accurate recommendations and less revenue. We hope you’ll give LimeSpot another chance to help your business grow.
App charges me almost $600 a month with no transparency. To give you an idea of how ridiculous the fluctuations in charges are: In January my sales were about $100k. I was charged $348. In July/August my sales were about the same amount over 30 days, but I was charged $587. I left a one star review last year after they charged me over $1500+, which was shocking for a single app with unproven results. The head of customer success responded almost immediately. They were very attentive for a week or so after that, and responded extra quickly. With every email, they begged me to edit the one-star review. The moment I did that, the head "went out of office" and never came back, and I was shunted to a customer service person. I left it alone for a while because the charges went down for a bit after that and I thought it was acceptable for the sales volume. But now I find I'm getting charged $600+ again. When I log in to check the analytics, I am only given an overview but not access to the detailed analytics. Let that sink in. Almost $600 a month and I can't even see the data from my store. The overview claims it's responsible for 28% of sales on my store, which is doubtful considering the bulk of my orders are single items related to my ads. I suspect if customers even interact with the boxes in any way, it counts as a sale, which is ridculous. I've emailed them a couple of times to see if I could reduce my charge by switching from Pay as you Go to a flat rate, and they asked me to pay $450 a month or a almost $5000 a year annual fee anyway. Mind you, at that point my monthly fee on PAYG was $348. I'm switching off soon, this app is extremely expensive with no transparency on how you're charged, and they will squeeze you for money any chance they get. I suspect changing the boxes to another app will not only not impact sales too much, but speed up my store loading (Speed tests have indicated they are one of the bigger culprits in adding to my loading speed). The only reason I haven't switched is because their customer success person whom I believed would know what they're doing placed their boxes all over my shop and I need to make sure removing them doesn't break my store. TLDR: Ridiculous pricing from predatory developers who will ramp up their charges when you're not paying attention and make it difficult for you to see the data justifying it, all the while collecting your data for themselves. Would not recommend.

I was skeptical about having any extra stuff hooked up to my Shopify store because I am pretty hesitant when it comes to new technology. However, I am thoroughly impressed with these guys. I haven't used it long enough to know if it is really going to drive up my conversion rates or not, but getting everything set up was super easy on my end, even when things got complicated. One of the representatives, Reymond, helped get my recommendation boxes to not only display properly on my website so that customers can properly experience what LimeSpot has to offer, but they, and I am assuming their colleagues, went above and beyond and got the content to follow the same design layout, theme elements, and color schemes as the rest of my website, even though the theme I utilize through Shopify has specific custom CSS to make it happen. The turn around on getting everything formatted properly was less than a day, and every interaction was prompt and curtious. I look forward to seeing how this app does for my store and growth, but so far they have won me over with their service and dedication to the customer- something that is not only taken for granted, but is also very rare these days.

lime spot is a really good app and it is very easy to integrate into the store. I had a problem with the setup and Chester helped me really fast.
Extremely Disappointing Experience with Limespot Personalizer Our company recently had the misfortune of using Limespot Personalizer, and we are extremely disappointed with the service we received. Our encounter with this platform was nothing short of a complete disaster, and we strongly advise against anyone considering their services. Inadequate Support: Limespot Personalizer's support team left much to be desired. Whenever we encountered issues, their response was unhelpful and unsatisfactory. They consistently failed to address our concerns effectively, leaving us feeling neglected and frustrated. It was disheartening to receive such poor support for a product we were paying for. Persistent Breakdowns: We experienced frequent and disruptive technical issues while using Limespot Personalizer. It seemed that everything was constantly breaking down, causing our website to become dysfunctional. This unreliability had a significant negative impact on our business, affecting our online presence and customer experience. It was an ongoing nightmare that hindered our operations. Misleading Email Solution: Limespot Personalizer's email solution was incredibly flawed and misleading. It would often direct recipients to a different page than what was promised in the email, causing confusion and frustration. During this period, LimeSpot has consistently delivered exceptional results, generating over 150X ROI and contributing over 25% of Craftshack’s revenue through our product recommendations. Regrettably, despite our product’s outstanding performance, we were never able to satisfy this customer's demands. We agree that parting ways is the most prudent decision in this case. App does not function correctly. We have on ongoing connectivity issue which stops us being able to configure the app to use on the site. The limespot support team are unable to advise or solve the issue after many weeks. We will be removing the app and looking for apps which do not have any many bugs . .

Very versatile app. Being able to accurately cross-sell and upsell products is a huge deal for us. Just started with the app but already see tons of great ways to fine-tune the shopping/selling experience of our site. And very importantly- customer service is always very friendly and available to help. Highly recommended!
Excellent customer care so far...installed the app and asked for the team to update the app to match our theme. Frederick reached out within an hour & completed every tweak almost within minutes of asking. So to cut a long story short the App is now fully integrated into our site and we can monitor the performance less than 24hours after install.

The best support experience I have had in a long time. I use Limespot to cross-sell products and upsell upon checkout. The usability and features are well thought out. It has really improved our ability to cross-sell products. I could not figure out how to do something and tech support immediately responded and did it for me as well as taught me how to do it. An excellent product with great support.

I have used the App for a while now and was so surprised to see the amount they were charging based on my stores revenue. I have written to support a few times now, and all I get is a link to change my plan since my store was apparently on the old structure? I have tried doing this and it still doesn't work. No help from Support with this matter and I am very disappointed since I have been using the app for many years. I have removed it as I don't want to pay for something that isn't working for me at this moment.

Great App and its AI really helps boost sales and ease the customers journey to right products. Also they have a great support team - I had issue with my 2.0 theme update and they resolved it within hours.

I started with the wrong foot with this app and after deleting it, they did reach out to me asking how they could do better. They were able to fix the previous issues and customize a few things in order to match my store's theme. I really appreciated their approach to finding a solution for an unsatisfied customer. I'm confident that I will continue using this app for a long time! :)

This app is wonderful! It does an amazing job at providing recommendations and allowing us to A/B test different experiences and recommendation containers to help increase our conversion rate. Installed the app and at first, I was like wow look at all these sales. Their analytics made it look like it was working. After a few weeks, I realized the product recommendations were linking to my press page. NOT the products. When I asked them how their analytics was tracking if it wasn't going to the product, I received a nonsensical answer with no concrete explanation. I decided to keep Limespot a little longer to see if I could measure it against other analytics tools I have. Then I realized it's showing products that are in draft status and have been removed from the online store channel. They claim to use AI, but the app is showing items that haven't been on sale in a month? That makes no sense. At this point, I have no choice except to conclude this app is a scam and their analytics are senseless.

Highly recommend Limespot. We've seen strong incremental results through adding dynamic product recommendations to the site (so helpful to be able to demonstrate the incrementality through the integrated A/B testing). The aesthetic of the recommendations is highly customizable and integrates seamlessly with our site design. The best part about Limespot, though, is the support team. Our experience working with Steph has been phenomenal.

whenever you update your prices, limespot doesn't update it on their system. After weeks past , their widget shows the old prices , causing confusion. You have to do manual sync each time you update your price in their app. Annoying. update: Apparently this issue is only with my store. thats what they said.

The app is quite powerful and can help you do what Amazon does in terms of getting products shown to customers and driving up the sales and AOV. There are several ways to implement the upsells and cross-sells so they would be store specific but, there is definitely flexibility in how you want to show them on your site. Now, what's even more amazing than Limespot is Ryanna, their #1 customer support and account management expert. The things Ryanna can do with Limespot....... She gets 6 stars. Her knowledge and expertise is impressive.

Great app. I've had it installed for a little over 24 hours and I've already made 15 sales from recommendations, so it has more than paid for itself. The default settings that they have are beautiful. Had one minor change I wanted and they took care of it right away.

Disappointed with this app. It looks great but doesn't function with current products and prices. Products which have been archived still show up in the upsell box and sale prices don't show up either. I've reached out a few times for help with no response at all. not worth the hassle.
